How to Increase Attributes
Cyberpunk 2077 has five main Attributes: Body, Reflexes, Technical Ability, Intelligence, and Cool.You gain Attribute Points as V levels up. Open the Character menu and spend them on the Attribute that supports your build. Each Attribute can reach 20. The base game level cap is 50. Phantom Liberty raises V's maximum character level to 60, giving expansion owners additional Attribute Points to spend. Attribute thresholds at 4, 9, 15, and 20 unlock increasingly powerful perk tiers.
How to Improve Performance and Increase FPS
Cyberpunk 2077 is no longer the unstable launch build described in old guides, but it remains a demanding game. The fastest performance gains usually come from disabling Path Tracing or lowering Ray Tracing settings first. These effects are extremely expensive on the GPU. On compatible hardware, use DLSS, AMD FSR, or Intel XeSS. Current PC versions support newer technologies including DLSS 4 features, FSR 3 and later improvements, and XeSS 2 support introduced with later updates.Frame Generation can provide a large FPS increase, but it works best when your base frame rate is already reasonably high. Crowd Density, volumetric effects, Screen Space Reflections, and shadow settings can also be reduced if the CPU or GPU remains overloaded. How to Remove the Blurry Image
The old recommendation to simply increase graphics settings does not solve most image-blur complaints. Open Graphics settings and experiment with disabling Motion Blur, Film Grain, and Chromatic Aberration. Depth of Field can also make specific scenes look intentionally soft.If you use DLSS, FSR, or XeSS, avoid very aggressive Performance or Ultra Performance modes at low resolutions. Quality or Balanced modes usually provide a cleaner image at 1080p and 1440p. If temporal upscaling looks too soft, use the sharpening control carefully rather than setting it to an extreme value.

What Happened to Athletics?
Athletics no longer exists as a separate Skill.Update 2.0 removed the old Athletics, Annihilation, Street Brawler, and similar sub-skills and replaced them with the five modern Skill Progression categories. If you find a guide telling you to sprint endlessly, punch walls, or force doors to level Athletics, that guide is describing the pre-2.0 version of Cyberpunk 2077. For a Body-focused character, Solo is now the closest equivalent.

You still cannot install traditional engine, suspension, armor, wheel, or transmission upgrades on ordinary owned vehicles. Visual customization is now available for compatible cars through CrystalCoat and TWINTONE.Update 2.2 expanded CrystalCoat beyond Rayfield to selected Herrera, Mizutani, Quadra, and Villefort vehicles. Compatible vehicles are marked with a spray-can icon in AUTOFIXER.TWINTONE lets V scan supported cars with Kiroshi optics and save color schemes for a fee. Later updates expanded vehicle customization further, but this remains a paint and appearance system rather than a full mechanical tuning garage. Food and drinks can be consumed directly when you pick them up if the interaction prompt offers that option. You can also open the inventory and use consumable items from there. Food and beverages provide temporary buffs rather than playing a full restaurant dining animation every time. Vendors and vending machines remain useful sources of consumables, but you do not need to visit a restaurant simply to eat.
Which Pills Should You Take During the Ending?
This question refers to Nocturne OP55N1 and contains major ending spoilers. Omega Blockers suppress Johnny and allow V to remain in control. They are used for routes such as asking Panam and the Aldecaldos for help. The Arasaka route also keeps V in control.Pseudoendotrizine gives Johnny control of V's body and is used when choosing the Rogue route. The important decision is made on the rooftop while speaking with Johnny. The pills confirm the route you have already selected rather than acting as a simple good-ending or bad-ending choice.The hidden Don't Fear the Reaper route can become available under specific Johnny relationship conditions if you wait during the rooftop decision instead of immediately choosing another plan.
Can You Buy an Apartment?
Yes. This feature was added long after launch. After completing Playing for Time, V can rent additional apartments with a one-time payment through the EZEstates website on the computer in the original Megabuilding H10 apartment.The standard rentable apartments are in Northside, Japantown, The Glen, and Corpo Plaza. You can own all of them simultaneously, and they share the same stash.The original H10 apartment can also be redecorated through EZEstates. Some story characters can grant access to other homes, but these are separate from the apartment rental system.
Can You Buy Ammo?
Yes. The old statement that ammunition cannot be purchased is incorrect. Weapon vendors sell ammunition, and ammo can also be crafted from the Crafting menu. Enemies and containers continue to provide plenty during normal exploration. If you use a weapon type heavily, crafting ammo between fights is usually faster than traveling to a store.
How to Keep Cyberpsychos Alive
The old advice about needing fists or special shock grenades is outdated. In the current game, Cyberpsycho Sightings are designed so the target is normally incapacitated rather than killed when their health reaches zero.The real danger comes afterward. Do not keep shooting, slash the body, trigger an explosion, or let an area-of-effect attack hit the unconscious cyberpsycho. Once the target is down, stop attacking and complete the investigation objective. This allows Regina Jones to receive the cyberpsycho alive.
Can You Avoid Paying Rogue 15,000 Eurodollars?
No, not if you want to continue the Ghost Town main job and follow the Anders Hellman route. Rogue still charges 15,000 eurodollars for the information. There is no dialogue check, lifepath option, or alternative quest route that removes this payment.If you are short on money, complete Gigs, NCPD Scanner activities, or sell unused weapons before returning to the Afterlife. How to Stop Overheat and Enemy Quickhacks
Overheat is a Combat Quickhack used by enemy netrunners and other hostile systems. Breaking line of sight can interrupt some hacking attempts, but Update 2.0 also introduced the tracing system. Depending on the encounter, hostile netrunners can use allied enemies and networks to locate V. When a hostile upload begins, look for the highlighted enemy netrunner if the game reveals them and neutralize that target quickly. Moving behind cover, changing position, killing linked enemies, or leaving the hostile network area can also help. Cyberware and perks designed for netrunner defense can reduce the danger in hacking-heavy encounters.
How to Spare Maiko in Pisces

Open the Journal and select Shards to read documents you have collected. Encrypted shards that can be cracked display an additional security or decryption option. Judy can be romanced only by a V with a feminine body and feminine voice. Her major side jobs are Both Sides, Now, Ex-Factor, Talkin' 'Bout a Revolution, Pisces, and Pyramid Song. The critical mistake in Pisces is accepting Maiko's takeover payment. The cleanest route is to reject Maiko's plan, finish Pisces, then accept Judy's invitation for Pyramid Song.During the night at the cottage, choose the romantic option and kiss her. The next morning, confirm that you want the relationship to continue. The old guide incorrectly claimed that Maiko must survive and that killing her automatically destroys the romance. That is not true.
Can You Play Braindances Whenever You Want?
No. Cyberpunk 2077 contains many Braindance recordings as story objects, but V cannot load arbitrary commercial BDs whenever you want. Playable Braindance sequences are tied to specific main jobs, side jobs, investigations, and scripted activities.Items sold as miscellaneous Braindance recordings generally cannot be launched through a free-play BD menu.
How to Get Nibbles the Cat
You can adopt Nibbles after Act 1.In Megabuilding H10, leave V's apartment and walk down the nearby hallway until you find a small bowl and the shard Feed teh Cat. Place Cat Food in the bowl. Wait roughly 24 in-game hours and return. Nibbles will appear near the bowl. Interact with the cat to bring her into V's original H10 apartment. Cat Food can be found as loot and is also sold by food vendors. What Is the Current Level Cap?
Without Phantom Liberty, V can reach level 50. With Phantom Liberty installed, the maximum character level increases to 60. Street Cred still caps at 50. Each of the five passive Skills can reach level 60 regardless of whether you own the expansion. Each normal Attribute can reach 20.
