Soul appears as part of the main story in Graveyard Keeper 2 after you complete part of Albert's questline. Summoning the fairy requires three items, and one of them only becomes available after you gain access to the port. In this guide, we'll explain where to find all three ingredients, how to perform the summoning, and what to do with the Fairy's Swamp Map afterward.
The quest becomes available during Sweet Dreams, after Albert examines the Dream Dust you created. He does not consume the item, so it remains in your inventory and you do not need to make another batch for the summoning. After the conversation, a new Summon Fairy recipe appears at the Kitchen Table in your house. If you have not reached this point yet, continue Albert's questline first.The ritual requires 1 Dream Dust, 1 Comet's Tail, and 1 Tooth. It is best to gather all three ingredients in advance, since you cannot partially complete the recipe.
Where to Get Dream Dust
You should already have the Dream Dust left over from Sweet Dreams. Albert only examines it and gives it back, so there is no need to use alchemy again. If the item is no longer in your inventory, check your chests and wherever you stored your alchemy materials after the previous quest.
Where to Buy Comet's Tail
The easiest way to get a Comet's Tail is to buy one from Gunter after gaining access to the Town and port. You can only reach this area after Herbert's first successful military operation, so if the required merchant is still unavailable, continue Herbert's quests and complete the first battle.Image unavailableOnce the port is open, find Gunter in the Astrologer's Tower and buy a Comet's Tail from him. The item can also be purchased from the Apothecary, but there is no reason to search for an alternative vendor if you already have access to Gunter.
How to Get a Tooth
A Tooth is crafted at the Formulation Bench after researching the Skull and Teeth Technology. The recipe requires a Skull, so wait for another corpse delivery from Donkey, place the body on an Autopsy Table, and extract the required part.Image unavailableThen take the Skull to the Formulation Bench and craft a Tooth. If Donkey has stopped delivering bodies because of his story requirements, continue Donkey's questline first.
How to Summon Soul
Once you have Dream Dust, Comet's Tail, and a Tooth, return home and interact with the Kitchen Table or Kitchen Table II. Select the Summon Fairy recipe. The craft requires Farming Mastery 3, and all three ingredients are consumed when the ritual is completed.Watch the entire scene with Soul. Completing Chasing Fairy Lights rewards you with the Fairy's Swamp Map and unlocks the A Little Magic achievement. The next story quest, Heart of the Swamp, begins at the same time.Image unavailableThe map alone does not let you enter the Swamp immediately. The southern bridge in the Forest is guarded by bandits, who require both the Fairy's Swamp Map and a Royal Pardon. Both items are consumed when the route is opened, so your next step is to continue the bandits' quests and unlock the path into the Swamp. After that, you can proceed with Heart of the Swamp and the Goddess of Nature storyline.Completing Chasing Fairy Lights also fulfills one of the requirements for continuing Donkey's storyline. If you have already seen his conversation about Agatha, his next attempted corpse delivery will trigger the strike.
