Power Lines is one of the main story missions in CONTROL Resonant, during which Dylan must reroute power through several subway stations. The main puzzles revolve around Tuning Devices and Calibration Units, but each station has a different solution. In this guide, we'll show you where to find every Calibration Unit and how to reroute power at Perimeter, East Park, Factory, and the Vanished Station.
The entrance to Perimeter Station is east of the Field Office, near the wall affected by the gravity anomaly. Before entering the subway, you need to defeat two waves of Level 4 Hiss.Image unavailableHead downstairs. Before the second staircase, there is a Power Core near the door to a small shop. You can transfer the electrical Charge to another Core opposite it to open the shop and collect the material container inside.On the platform, you will find a Tuning Device and several notes explaining that three Calibration Units are required to reroute the power.
Where to Find the Calibration Units
The first Calibration Unit is at the top of the staircase opposite the one you used to reach the Tuning Device. The second is in the tunnel to the left of the platform near the Mold.Reaching the third Unit requires transferring an electrical Charge. Take the Charge from the Power Core upstairs and carry it to the Core in the tunnel near the rotating fan. Once power is restored, the door will open and you can pick up the final Calibration Unit.
Where to Place the Calibration Units
All three Units need to be placed inside squares marked with yellow tape. One square is directly beside the Tuning Device. The other two can be found by following the yellow lines up the two staircases. Reaching one of these positions requires powering the Core beside a door.Once all three Calibration Units are in place, return to the Tuning Device and activate it.
East Park Station
At East Park Station, you will once again face two waves of Hiss. During the fight, prioritize the enemy that heals the surrounding hostiles. Once the area is clear, head down into the subway. There are two small shops beyond the ticket barriers. The first Calibration Unit can be collected immediately from the open shop on the right, while the shop on the left is sealed by a shutter.Image unavailable
Where to Find the Calibration Units
The first Unit is inside the open shop on the right.
The second is directly on the platform near the Mold.
Before placing the Units, destroy the three large Mold growths surrounding the Tuning Device. The three marked squares are hidden beneath them.To obtain the final Unit, activate the Tuning Device several times. After the third activation, Dylan will be teleported inside the locked shop. Break the electrical panel to raise the shutter, take the Calibration Unit, and return to the platform.
How to Reroute the Power
Place all three Calibration Units on the marked squares around the Tuning Device. There is no specific order at this station. Each Unit simply needs to occupy one of the three positions. Once they are all in place, activate the Tuning Device again to reroute power through the station.
Factory Station
Before entering Factory Station, you once again need to survive two waves of enemies. This time, Mold creatures will appear alongside the Hiss. After the fight, head into the subway. The first Calibration Unit can be collected from the shop beyond the ticket barriers.Image unavailable
Where to Find the Calibration Units
The other two Units are near the platform. One is on top of a train car, while the other is behind the staircase you used to descend. Collect all three and carry them to the Tuning Device.
How to Position the Units Correctly
Unlike at East Park Station, the Calibration Units here need to be properly aligned. Place them on the three yellow squares in front of the Tuning Device so that, when viewed from the machine, all three Units form a single straight line.Once the Units are correctly positioned, activate the Tuning Device. A short cutscene will begin.
Vanished Station
After rerouting power through the previous stations, things take an unexpected turn. When you try to return to the surface, the staircase will be blocked by a wall. Head back down and turn right. A new tunnel will open. Follow the tracks until the path is blocked again. Mold enemies will appear here. Eliminate them and continue through the tunnel until you reach another station.Image unavailable
How to Restore Power to Platform B
At the end of the route, you will arrive on Platform A, where another Tuning Device is located. Interact with it to travel to Platform B.The Tuning Device here has no power and the cables have been severed. There are two Power Cores on opposite sides of the platform. Approach the Core receiving electricity and strike it with the Aberrant to transfer the Charge to your weapon. Then quickly reach the second Core and hit it.Large Mold growths will appear afterward. Do not destroy them. They are required to conduct electricity across the damaged cables.Transfer the Charge between the Cores again. Once another Mold growth appears, power to the Tuning Device will be restored. Take the electrical Charge and activate the machine to return to Platform A.
How to Get the Calibration Unit on Platform A
As soon as you return, transfer the Charge to the nearest Power Core and follow the cable up the stairs. The shutter will rise, allowing you to collect a Calibration Unit from behind it.Carry the Unit to the Tuning Device and place it on the empty square behind the machine. Then activate the device again to return to Platform B.
How to Find the Remaining Calibration Units
On Platform B, go up the stairs and take the electricity from the Core powering the floodlight. Transfer the Charge to the unpowered Core nearby. The shop shutter will open, revealing another Calibration Unit and a Health Upgrade.Leave the Unit there for now and head toward the gate blocked by Mold. Destroy the growths to open the route to the survivors. After speaking with them, pick up two more Calibration Units and carry them out into the corridor.Now transfer the electrical Charge to the Core that previously powered the floodlights near the survivors. You can then destroy the outer Mold growths covering the remaining Calibration Unit positions. One of these growths is on Platform A, while the other two are on Platform B.
How to Complete Power Lines
Image unavailablePlace all the Calibration Units on the newly uncovered positions and activate the Tuning Devices on Platforms A and B. A group of Mold enemies will then appear along with the mini-boss Sandra.Defeat the enemies, return to the survivors, and speak with Dr. Florez. This completes the Power Lines mission.
