NewsNVIDIA has announced a major update for DLSS 5. The new 3D-Guided Neural Rendering model runs twice as fast as the September version, uses 20% less VRAM at 4K, and will debut in its updated form in NBA 2K27.
NewsEmbark Studios and Nexon have partnered with Chernin Entertainment, the production company behind Planet of the Apes and Ford v Ferrari. The company will serve as lead producer on screen adaptations of both Embark shooters, ARC Raiders and THE FINALS.
NewsBlizzard is intentionally reducing the visual detail and modern polish of the new Skyborne race. Rather than making the characters look as modern as possible, the studio is dialing back the softness, adjusting color saturation, and developing separate SD models so the new race fits more naturally alongside the classic visuals of old World of Warcraft. The simplified versions are planned for early 2027, and the idea has already received a positive response from parts of the community.
NewsFrontier Developments is releasing the sequel to its popular zoo management simulator, Planet Zoo 2. The game launches on October 13, 2026 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
NewsEmbark has announced a full overhaul of its punishment policy in ARC Raiders. Any account caught cheating now receives a permanent ban on the first offense, with no warnings or probationary period. Executive producer Aleks Grøndal openly acknowledged that the studio had been "overly cautious" about permanent bans and should have acted more aggressively sooner.

NewsInfinity Ward has confirmed that the returning DMZ mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be available early to digital pre-order customers starting October 20. The full game launches on October 23 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

NewsCzech studio Amanita Design has announced Machinarium 2, a sequel to the cult 2009 hand-drawn adventure. The reveal took place during the autumn Triple-i Initiative showcase, and the game already has store pages on Steam and GOG.
