Planet Zoo 2 Launches October 13

Frontier Developments is releasing the sequel to its popular zoo management simulator, Planet Zoo 2. The game launches on October 13, 2026 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.The sequel expands the animal roster. For the first time in the series, players can build habitats for fully aquatic species and flying birds, including aquariums and aviaries designed around their needs. Frontier has also improved the detail of other animals, with more natural movement and herd behavior.The creative tools have been expanded as well, with updated piece-by-piece construction, terrain brushes, and more flexible color customization. The game includes both new and returning scenery themes, along with Sandbox and Franchise modes. Another major community feature is the Frontier Workshop, where players can share their own building blueprints or browse and download creations made by others directly through the in-game interface.
