On October 16, Valve added Violet, an artist who works with Living Ink, as the fifth hero in Deadlock's City Never Sleeps update. The studio also confirmed when the lineup's final character will arrive: the stern and terrifying Nurse Harrow is due on Tuesday, October 20, at 2 PM PDT.Violet is an artist, and her entire kit revolves around her signature resource, Living Ink. It empowers her shots and lets her bring drawings off the page and into a real fight. Flow State provides mobility, allowing Violet to glide quickly along trails of ink toward enemies to deal damage or away from them to escape. With Still Life, she captures an enemy's likeness and temporarily holds them in place. Finally, her ultimate ability, Abstract Landscape, unfolds an enormous canvas around Violet and her allies, turning the fight into a work of her own making.Image unavailableOn October 14, the studio also released a balance patch that nerfed Baba by reducing her tea barrier and resistances, while buffing Deadman Danny with more base health, stronger charged shots, and a bigger bonus from Close the Deal. A new season of the biggest Deadlock tournament begins on October 24, so the final hero will arrive just four days before the competition starts.
