Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said during the company's annual shareholders meeting that PC is becoming an "increasingly important platform" for the publisher and that its strategy is to release games on every platform with a meaningful audience. Although he did not directly confirm a PC version of GTA 6, analysts and gaming media have interpreted his comments as a sign that the gap between the console and PC releases could be significantly shorter than it was for Rockstar's previous major titles.
Video Games Chronicle journalist Andy Robinson previously reported that the industry has been actively discussing faster development of PC ports, and the Take-Two executive's comments indirectly support those expectations. For players, this could mean that the wait for GTA 6 on PC may be much shorter than several years, although no exact timeframe has been announced.GTA 6 is currently officially confirmed only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the game scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026. Rockstar Games has not yet made any official announcements about a PC version.
