On September 24, Rockstar Games opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection for $399.99. The box contains 11 collectible items, but neither the game itself nor a download code.Image unavailableRockstar explicitly states that Grand Theft Auto VI is sold separately. There are currently two official editions of the game: the Standard Edition for $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition for $99.99. The boxed version of GTA VI, which becomes available on November 12, does not include a disc either. Instead, the box contains a download code. The Ultimate Edition is not offered physically at all and is available only digitally. The collectible set is limited to one per person, and purchasing it requires signing in to the Rockstar Store. It is not available for purchase in Russia. Resellers wasted no time: listings have already appeared on eBay for anywhere from around $600 to $1,500 and beyond. At the same time, the collection has not sold out and can still be pre-ordered directly from Rockstar for the regular $399.99 price. There is currently no reason to pay a reseller premium. Sellers are simply trying to make money from fans who don't realize the box is still officially available. If you want both the game and the collection, the total comes to roughly $480 before taxes and shipping with the Standard Edition, or around $500 with the Ultimate Edition. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
