All Notes and Audio Log Locations in Hellraiser: Revival

Notes, documents, and audio recordings in Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival reveal more about the characters and add entries to the Collections menu. This guide explains where to find the first records inside the cult compound and which rooms to check later in the mansion, club, and factory.

How Collections work

Walk up to a document and interact with it. For a tape recorder, start the recording. When an appropriate item is registered, a Collection Updated notification appears. We recommend checking that notification immediately.Not every readable book is part of a Collection. The Collected Poems of Emily Dickinson is used for a puzzle, while the Occult Codex is a valuable item that can be sold. Weapons, crafting recipes, and upgrade pillars belong to separate collectible categories.The number 27 used in achievement guides refers to the achievement-related collectibles: five firearms, twelve crafting recipes, five Pain Pillars, and five Suffering Pillars. Notes, documents, and audio logs are separate lore entries and are not included in that total.There is no Chapter Select and you cannot freely return to every previous area. Before leaving a major location, we recommend making a separate save so you can return for a missed document. On Hellraiser difficulty, dying sends you back to the last save, so any entries found after that save need to be collected again.

Cult compound: the first documents and recordings

After getting out of the chair, read both reports on the desk, covering Aidan Lynch and Yoon Sun-Hee. Together they register the Surveillance Reports collection. In the first corridor, check the alcove behind the cracked green door. Near the passage marked M359, inspect the placard beside Bruno's displayed artwork. Farther on, do not walk past the tape recorder sitting on a gurney.In the courtyard, enter the utility room containing clothes and a key. A formaldehyde reminder is beside the locker. In Bruno's studio, inspect the desk, read the note signed "B", and cycle through the photographs.After the Chatterer chase, take the document from the blue drum beside the hanging victim. Beyond the secret bookshelf, read the open book on the desk. In the candlelit shrine room, inspect the placard beside the floor symbol, then read the note attached to the locked security door. Near the detective, inspect the badge and tape recorder. In the room with bunk beds, check the open book on the lower bunk.To check the beginning of the route, use this order:

• Post-it Notes: the power-outage instruction.
• The detective's collection.
• A History of the Cenobites: Chapter 3: Cenobites.

Later during the escape, you encounter Layla's letter, the August 1, 2002 sermon about the path to rebirth, material about fear, Marlowe's love, and the mysterious old woman, as well as Chapter 2 on Configurations. After the chapel fight, make sure to enter the room with several monitors because it contains documents and a recording. When you pass through the club again, read the foreword.

Escaping Charlotte and returning home

In this section, check for documents with the following names and subjects:

• Surveillance Report on Zora Beckett.
• Chapter 4 about Orno.
• Threat.
• Surveillance Reports on Shaun Lashenski and Charlotte Strauss.
• The Fanatic's Farewell Gift.
• The Fanatic's Farewell.
• The Graveyard Caretaker's Promise.

At the graveyard, check the recording near the house, the note in the bedroom, and the document in the shed. After returning to the apartment before the hunt for Charlotte, find three notes: one beside the television, one on the small table opposite it, and one on the stepladder. Their contents are connected to the box's trial, binding, and the protagonist's return.

Which other rooms should you check?

Near the well, documents can be found by the carousel, in the pagoda, and beside the well itself. Underground, check the books in the sacrifice room.When you return to the club, look for books after the elevator and near the iron maidens, recordings in the observation room, and material in the room beyond the Snake Door. In the Private Rooms, inspect the bloodstained bed and the room beneath the stairs.At the factory, check behind the blue double doors and around the central flesh structure. After the fight with Bruno, inspect the cabinet near the exit. Check the room containing the Elevator Key. Before the final section, do not miss the book behind Zora.
