Diablo 4 Leoric's Crown: Best Farm and How to Get It in Season 15

Leoric's Crown in Diablo 4 can drop from the general Unique loot pool, but for targeted farming we recommend repeated runs through Worldstone Keep to the Echo of Baal. This route lets you hunt Legacy Uniques while collecting additional loot along the way. If your character can already handle Torment X, the harder Pinnacle version is worth considering. You do not need to wait for it just to get your first Crown, however, because the standard Nightmare version becomes available earlier.Keep in mind that Baal does not guarantee this specific helm. Leoric's Crown is not assigned to one dedicated boss in the way some other Uniques are, so it can also appear from other activities. Below, we explain the most practical farming route, entry requirements, and the mistake that can cause players to enter the wrong version of Worldstone Keep.

Where does Leoric's Crown drop?

Leoric's Crown is one of the Legacy Uniques added in Season 15. It is an all-class Unique Helm and a permanent addition to Diablo 4. Blizzard confirms that the item is available in both Seasonal and Eternal realms, so it is not a reward that disappears when the season ends. The Crown can drop from the normal Unique loot pool, including Nightmare Dungeons, Kurast Undercity, and other activities that reward Unique gear. Waking Nightmares provide another route, particularly the larger dungeons featuring echoes of the Prime Evils. For a Seasonal character, this can be more convenient than randomly farming all over Sanctuary because you can collect other Legacy items and useful materials along the way. There is still no confirmed exact drop rate for Leoric's Crown.

Best practical farm: Echo of Baal

For repeat runs, we recommend Worldstone Keep in the Fractured Peaks. This large Waking Nightmare recreates the path toward Baal from Diablo II. Before reaching the final boss, you need to defeat the three Ancients and move through several sections of the dungeon. The extra loot from the Ancients means the run still has value even when the Crown does not drop from Baal. This is a recommendation based on route efficiency and total loot, not proof that Baal has the highest Crown drop chance. Harder encounters with Echo of Mephisto and Echo of Diablo can also be used to hunt Legacy items. If your build clears one of those noticeably faster than Baal, compare several complete runs instead of blindly farming the slowest encounter just because another player called it the best.We cover progression toward the three seasonal Prime Evil encounters in our guide to the Prime Evil powers. Here, we focus specifically on repeat runs through Worldstone Keep. Progress the seasonal questline until the Baal encounter is unlocked, then check which version of the dungeon is currently available on your map.

Nightmare vs. Pinnacle Worldstone Keep

The standard Nightmare version becomes available on Torment IV. Its entrance is in The Pallid Glade in the Fractured Peaks, and the first clear is tied to progressing beyond Seasonal Rank V. The dungeon uses fixed difficulty. Raising your world difficulty does not turn the standard entrance into the stronger version.Starting at Torment X, a Pinnacle version becomes available. International guides also commonly refer to this harder encounter as the Hell or Pinnacle version. It is significantly more dangerous and intended for a properly prepared character. Look for the separate marker on the map and read the description before entering. Simply setting the game to Torment X and using the familiar Nightmare entrance is not enough to start the harder version.

How to farm Baal faster

Worldstone Keep does not require spending a Lair Boss key for every attempt, so the main cost is your time. To make repeat farming faster, focus on mandatory objectives instead of clearing every side room. We still recommend collecting the Ancients' drops because they make up a meaningful part of the run's total value. If your main goal is the Crown, continue all the way to Baal instead of resetting after the Ancients.
  1. Reach the Summit of Arreat. From the entrance, move through the Path of the Ancients toward the next area. Skip optional enemy groups if they do not block progression.
  2. Defeat the three Ancients. At the summit, interact with the altar near the statues to begin the fight. Collect their loot after the battle and continue deeper into the dungeon.
  3. Reach the Throne of Destruction. Move through Worldstone Keep toward the next transitions. Do not waste time searching for one specific chest because there is no guaranteed Leoric's Crown cache.
  4. Clear the enemy waves. Baal cannot be attacked while he remains on the throne. Defeat the summoned groups and wait until you can follow him through the portal.
  5. Defeat the Echo of Baal. Finish the boss fight, collect the dropped gear, and check every Unique item.
  6. Leave and reset the dungeon. Open the journal from the map, choose the dungeon reset option, and confirm. In a party, everyone should leave the instance before the reset.
Measure farming speed across the entire cycle, including leaving, checking loot, and re-entering. Killing Baal quickly does not help much if you spend several minutes in town after every attempt. For convenience, add Leave Dungeon to the action wheel. Detailed item sorting is better done after several runs, once your inventory actually needs attention.

What if Pinnacle Baal is too difficult?

We do not recommend forcing the Pinnacle version through repeated deaths just because someone promised better rare loot. For your first Leoric's Crown, you can repeat the normal Worldstone Keep or continue running other activities that award Unique gear. That lets you improve your build while still getting additional chances at the drop. Return to the harder version once the entire route, not just isolated enemy packs, feels comfortable.Another option is the Horadric Cube recipe that upgrades an item to Unique. A Common Helm can be used as the base item, but the result is not guaranteed to be Leoric's Crown. Treat this as an extra attempt rather than a direct crafting recipe for the helm. Before spending materials, check the current Upgrade to Unique requirements directly in the Cube interface.

Which Leoric's Crown should you keep?

The defining property of Leoric's Crown is its interaction with gems. The helm occupies the Head slot but counts as Jewelry for the effect of the gem socketed into it and amplifies that effect. Current Season 15 databases list the Unique effect at 35-50%. Older PTR guides and preview materials may still show 75-100%, so do not use those outdated values when judging a current drop.Compare the Unique Power roll first, then the other affixes and how useful the socketed gem actually is for your build. A higher percentage does not automatically make the helm better than every alternative if the boosted gem effect contributes very little to your setup. Season 15 also adds interactions with Soul Splinters, but those should still be chosen around the specific build. Do not salvage your first Crown until you have checked what you actually need it for.Worldstone Keep is also useful if you are collecting items for the season's secret content. The normal Baal fight and the combined encounter involving the three Prime Evils are separate activities, however. We cover the second chain in our guide to the Hellfire Torch and Echo of Tristram. You do not need to begin that separate secret quest just to farm Leoric's Crown.ng-20261005-215819-b85375c882.webpDiablo 4 Whimsyshire: How to Get Liquid Rainbow and Open the Secret LevelWhere to get Liquid Rainbow in Diablo 4, how to claim the Seasonal Rank V reward, open the portal to Whimsyshire, and defeat the secret area's unicorn boss.

Season 15 of Diablo 4 lets players visit Whimsyshire, a secret area filled with rainbows, animated flowers, Cuddle Bears, and unicorns. Beneath the bright presentation is a full combat run with loot and a final boss. The most reliable way to see it for yourself is to earn a Liquid Rainbow through seasonal progression and use the item from your inventory. In this guide, we explain which challenge gives you the first guaranteed bottle, where to open the portal, and what to look for once you are inside. The requirements apply to Season 15 and were checked against information available on October 5, 2026.

How to unlock the secret unicorn level

For a guaranteed visit, you need a Liquid Rainbow, a unique consumable item. Using it creates a rainbow portal next to your character. The bottle is consumed, so one copy does not provide unlimited repeat entries.Your first Liquid Rainbow is guaranteed as part of the Seasonal Rank V reward. Additional visits depend on finding more bottles or encountering random portals. We recommend claiming the seasonal reward first because waiting for a rare random entrance can take much longer.
  1. Progress to the Seasonal Rank V challenge.
  2. Complete Worldstone Keep in its Nightmare version on Torment IV and defeat the Echo of Baal.
  3. Open the Seasonal Journey and claim the completed Rank V reward containing Liquid Rainbow.
  4. Make room in your inventory and return to a town.
  5. Use the bottle and enter the rainbow portal that appears nearby.

Where to find the Baal dungeon for Liquid Rainbow

The required entrance is Diablo II - Worldstone Keep (Nightmare). It is located in The Pallid Glade in the Fractured Peaks. This is one of the large Waking Nightmares, and completing it is tied to the transition from Seasonal Rank V to Rank VI.Check the selected version before entering. The first guaranteed Liquid Rainbow requires the Torment IV Nightmare challenge. The harder Torment X Pinnacle version is not necessary for this reward. Large Waking Nightmares use fixed difficulty, so changing your world difficulty does not simply make the original challenge easier.Inside, you move through several areas. The route takes you through the Path of the Ancients to the Summit of Arreat, then deeper into Worldstone Keep and finally to Baal's throne room.
  1. Find the transition from the opening area to the Summit of Arreat.
  2. Activate the altar near the three Barbarian statues and defeat the Ancients.
  3. Continue through Worldstone Keep toward the throne room.
  4. Defeat the summoned enemy waves. Baal cannot be attacked during this stage.
  5. When he retreats, follow him through the portal and defeat the Echo of Baal in the final area.
After the victory, check the seasonal menu because the bottle must be claimed from the progression rewards. If you are also developing the season's special powers, see our guide to Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto powers.

Where to use Liquid Rainbow and open the portal

The easiest method is to return to a town, open the consumables section of your inventory, and use Liquid Rainbow. On PC, you can right-click the item. On controller, select the appropriate use action. Then interact with the rainbow portal that appears beside your character. You do not need to find a special altar or craft a Staff of Herding for this method. Liquid Rainbow acts as a direct key to the area. Diablo III's Staff of Herding recipe is unrelated to this Season 15 route. If the item cannot be activated inside another activity, leave that activity and try again in town. Liquid Rainbow is restricted in several special areas, including The Pit and Kurast Undercity. Town is also convenient because you can clear inventory space before entering.

How to enter Whimsyshire without the Seasonal Rank V reward

Additional Liquid Rainbows can appear as random drops. This gives you another way to return after using your first bottle, but there is no confirmed method that guarantees one from every repeat of a specific activity. The exact drop chance is also unknown.Rainbow portals can also appear after killing goblins. Players have reported them during Helltide farming, so we recommend paying attention to goblins you encounter during normal play. There is not enough reliable evidence to promise a portal from one exact goblin type or after a fixed number of kills. There are also community reports of portals appearing after Waking Nightmares. Treat these as random opportunities rather than guaranteed dungeon rewards. If your only goal is to see Whimsyshire for the first time, the Seasonal Rank V Liquid Rainbow remains the most predictable route.

What to do in Whimsyshire and where to find loot

Once inside, explore the area, kill enemies, and check side paths. You will encounter unicorns, Cuddle Bears, and animated flowers, while some loot comes from interactive environmental objects. Do not rush straight to the final arena because it is easy to leave useful rewards behind.Pay particular attention to Happy Clouds, gifts, Candy Jars, and chests. These can provide extra gear, Gold, and materials. The area can also contain Runes, gems, and seasonal Soul Splinters. Before entering, check your loot filter. If it hides items you currently want to collect, adjust the rules so those drops remain visible. You do not need to disable the filter entirely if your existing setup already shows the relevant items.

How to defeat Neigh'relle

At the end of the area is the Den of Whimsy, where you fight the unicorn boss Neigh'relle. The boss fires rainbow waves and a directed beam. Watch for the attack windups, move out of their path, and return to dealing damage once a safe window opens. We recommend keeping an evade available when Neigh'relle prepares the beam. The colorful attack is still dangerous, especially if you entered on a difficulty above what your build comfortably handles. Defeating the boss unlocks the Fancy Pants player title.A guaranteed Mythic Unique drop from Neigh'relle has not been confirmed. Whimsyshire is useful for normal loot, materials, and the title, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed source of one specific high-end item. For another Season 15 secret reward, see our guide to the Hellfire Torch and Echo of Tristram.

Can you leave and re-enter through the same portal?

Do not rely on being able to return indefinitely after leaving. Early guides described re-entering through a preserved portal, but players have also reported the entrance disappearing after death or an accidental exit. These are user reports rather than proof that every platform behaves the same way.For that reason, we recommend preparing in advance and completing your exploration in one visit. Before leaving, check any remaining side paths and collect the loot you want. Another visit after the run ends may require another Liquid Rainbow or a new random portal.
