CONTROL Resonant All Mysterious Dog and Dragon Toy Locations

In CONTROL Resonant, you need to find the Mysterious Dog in seven different zones and return her Dragon Toy each time. This guide shows every dog and toy location, explains how to complete the side story, and covers the artifact reward.CONTROL Resonant features a separate side story involving a Mysterious Dog that Dylan encounters throughout different parts of Manhattan. Each time, the dog looks upset, and a Dragon Toy is hidden somewhere nearby. To progress the side story, you need to find the dog, locate the toy, and return it to her basket. There are seven zones to visit in total, after which the dog will appear in The Gap. In this guide, we'll show you where to find the dog and her toy in every location, as well as the reward you'll receive at the end.

West Incursion Zone

The dog is slightly north of the Parking Garage you visit during The Incursion Fault. The easiest route starts at the House of Mirrors. Head left and use Shift to climb the wall. Go past the Parking Garage and you'll see a shifted rooftop ahead with the dog sitting on it. Jump across to the building and climb up to her.The toy is nearby. Stand next to the dog and look for the Chowrap billboard, then cross over to the rooftop beneath it and use Shift to reach the neighboring building on the left. The Dragon Toy is sitting on an air-conditioning unit. Pick it up and return the same way. Don't move too far away from the dog while carrying the toy, or it may disappear and you'll have to pick it up again.

Central

The easiest place to start looking for the dog is the Central Frontline fast travel point. She is southeast of it. You can either cross the area with the basketball court or move across the rooftops on the right, but either way you need to reach the road north of East Park Station.Climb the scaffolding onto the rooftop. The dog is sitting on the section of the building closest to the station and the nearby gas station. The toy is almost directly opposite her. From the dog, look toward the Chowrap billboard. The Dragon Toy is down below, directly beneath it, between the lasers. It's best to take out the nearby enemies before dropping down so you can carry the toy back without interruptions. Pick it up and return to the dog on the rooftop.

Evacuation Zone

The dog can be found north of the Main Street fast travel point. A Chowrap billboard makes a good landmark. Climb onto the rooftop near it, then use Shift to move even higher. The dog is waiting there.In this area, you'll probably spot the toy before you find the dog. The Dragon Toy is on the rooftop directly below her, near the door leading inside the building. Pick it up, find a spot where you can climb to the upper rooftop, then place the toy in the basket.

Downtown

Start your search near the Oldest House. Follow the main road away from Central and keep going until the road literally ends in the void.Now look to the right and start climbing the buildings. One of the rooftops has a small garden area, and this is where you'll find the dog. To get the toy, drop back down to the road beneath her. You'll see another Chowrap billboard on the left. Climb onto the rooftop of the building with the advertisement. The toy is sitting on some cardboard boxes. All that's left is to carry it back to the dog.

The Park

If you've unlocked the Mold Factory fast travel point, simply head north across the rooftops. The dog is not far from there.If you haven't unlocked the fast travel point yet, go through the Parking Garage, turn left, then take the first road on the right. About halfway down the street, you'll see an area covered in yellow Mold on the right. If you have Reach, you can climb straight onto the rooftop and make your way to the dog. Without it, you'll need to carefully cross the infested area using safe surfaces, then climb the building manually.Getting the toy is a little more involved here. Stand next to the dog and look up and to the right. You'll see a billboard and an exterior lift, but the lift has no power. On the rooftops opposite the dog, near the Mold Factory, look for a door blocked by Mold growths. Destroy the Mold to open a small room containing two Power Cores.There's a power station nearby. Take the energy and store it in one of the Power Cores you found. Then head down to the road between the dog and the toy, deal with the enemies, and carry the energy to the Power Core at the base of the lift. Once the elevator is working, wait for it to arrive, ride it up, and collect the toy. Then return to the dog.

Underpass

You'll most likely encounter this dog naturally during Recursions and Iterations, since she is located near the first research site.If you're returning later, fast travel to Research Stations. After leaving the door, jump onto the block opposite the research site, slightly to the right of the platform, and continue along the available route. Gradually climb across the blocks and look for a square opening in the ceiling. The dog is directly beneath it.The toy is hidden one level above. From the dog, follow the route on the left with the red carpet until you can use Shift to move onto the section of carpet on the ceiling. Continue following the red-carpet route and jump between the blocks. Eventually, you'll reach an area with several desks directly above the dog. The Dragon Toy is floating beside a desk that stands apart from the others.To return the toy, jump through the square opening in the middle of the area. Below, make your way to the blocked office, where gravity will change direction, then use the second square opening. It will bring you back almost directly to the dog.

The Unknown

First, make your way to the island left of the Field Office. The local fast travel point is called Tower Island. If you haven't visited this part of the map yet, you can reach it using the Patterning platforms near the large cluster of Mold on the main island.From Tower Island, walk past the water tower and drop onto the rooftop below. Then drop down one more level and jump across to the next building. The dog is sitting beside a small garden area. The string lights to her right are another useful landmark.The toy in The Unknown is hidden much farther away. If you're standing next to the dog, the Dragon Toy is on the upper balcony of the large skyscraper to the left, above the billboard. From the dog, drop down to the road and continue forward until you reach the park area where you can use Shift. Don't activate it yet. Instead, find the shifted building above the normal trees and use Reach to get onto its rooftop.Keep climbing across the rooftops alongside the building above you until you see the balcony. You don't want the level with the billboard, but the platform above it. Jump across and gravity should automatically change direction. Defeat the enemies and head toward the far end of the balcony, where you'll find the toy on a table. To return to the dog, you can jump directly across to the neighboring building.

What to Do After Returning All the Toys

Once you've completed all seven zones, head to The Gap. Somehow, the dog will already be waiting inside. Look for her between the area where Dylan upgrades abilities and the Combat Abilities interface. Interact with her to complete the side story.

Reward for Completing the Dog Side Story

Completing the side story rewards you with the recipe for the Trusted Spanner artifact. It increases Raw Damage by 15%.To craft it, you'll need:

• 4 Undefined Readings;
• 400 Source;
• 3 Violent Echos.

After the side story is complete, the dog will remain in The Gap.
