How to Remove Enchantments from an Item

To remove enchantments from an item, you need to craft a Grindstone. It can remove all enchantments from an item except curses. To craft a Grindstone, you need two Sticks, two Planks, and one Stone Slab.

Grindstone Crafting

If you have settled in a village, you can borrow a Grindstone from the villagers in the weaponsmith's building. When you interact with the Grindstone, you will need to choose whether you want to repair the item or remove its enchantments. Place the item you want to disenchant into the Grindstone, and it will remove all enchantments from it. 

Removing Enchantments

Once the Grindstone removes all enchantments from the tool, you can enchant it again.
