HITMAN 3: All Door Codes and Safe Combinations

HITMAN 3 is now part of HITMAN World of Assassination, but the fixed keypad codes from the original HITMAN 3 campaign are still the same. Several doors, safes, shortcuts, and mission-story objectives use four-digit combinations that never change between playthroughs.This guide covers every fixed keypad code in the six main HITMAN 3 campaign locations: Dubai, Dartmoor, Berlin, Chongqing, Mendoza, and the Carpathian Mountains.

Dubai Codes: On Top of the World

Dubai contains three different fixed combinations.

4706 - Staff Area Doors

The code 4706 opens the keypad doors leading from the public Atrium into the Staff Area on Level 0.There are two doors that use the same code. One is near the stairs leading up from the lower level, while the other is behind the small bar on the route toward Level 1.You can discover the combination during the How the Mighty Fall Mission Story. It is also written on a whiteboard in the Meeting Room.Using this code early gives Agent 47 access to the service corridors without having to force the doors.

6927 - Security Room Safes

The code 6927 opens both Security Room safes in Burj Al-Ghazali.One safe is on Level 2 and the other is on Level 3. Both contain an Evacuation Keycard.The keycards are used to activate the VIP Evacuation Protocol in the penthouse. This can force Carl Ingram and Marcus Stuyvesant to evacuate and creates one of the assassination opportunities connected to the Mile High Drop challenge.The combination can be found on a notice board in the Level 3 Security Room.

7465 - Penthouse Guest Bedroom Safe

The old version of this guide was missing this code.The 7465 combination opens the safe inside the Guest Bedroom in the penthouse on Level 5.You can enter the bedroom with the appropriate key or force the room door with suitable equipment. The safe is near the television.Inside is a tablet containing additional intel on the Providence Partners.A note attached to the computer in the room reveals the code.

Dartmoor Code: Death in the Family

Dartmoor has one fixed safe combination.

1975 - Alexa Carlisle's Office Safe

The code 1975 opens the hidden safe in Alexa Carlisle's private office on Level 2 of Thornbridge Manor.The safe is concealed behind a painting. Press the button on the arm of Alexa's chair behind the desk to move the painting aside.The symbols above the safe point to objects around the office. Matching those objects to the numbers placed near them gives the combination 1975.Inside the safe is the Case File on Arthur Edwards, one of the possible ways to obtain the secondary mission objective.You can also receive the Case File from Alexa herself as a reward if you complete the murder investigation and present a convincing conclusion.

Berlin Code: Apex Predator

The original guide skipped Berlin completely.

1989 - Rolf Hirschmuller's Office Safe

The only fixed code in Berlin is 1989.It opens the safe in Rolf Hirschmuller's Office on Level -2 of Club Hölle.The number is a reference to the year the Berlin Wall fell.The office is deep inside the club near the biker-controlled sections. You can reach it by navigating through the lower club levels or by using alternative routes from the corridor connecting the club and biker building.The safe contains a Gold Idol and a Cocaine Brick.

Chongqing Codes: End of an Era

Chongqing looks complicated because many doors use keypads, but there are only two fixed combinations: 0118 and 2552.

Entering a Keypad Code in Chongqing

0118 - ICA Apartment and Facility Access

The code 0118 is used for several doors connected to the ICA side of the map.It opens the ICA Apartment door on Level 2. You can learn the combination by listening to the answering machine inside the apartment after entering through another route.The same code also opens the hidden ICA Facility entrance inside the container at street level.It is also used on the keypad door in the laundromat area.Because several early routes into the ICA section share this combination, memorizing 0118 makes Chongqing significantly easier to navigate.

2552 - The Block and Hush's Building

The second Chongqing code is 2552.It opens the keypad door near the Benchmark Lab in The Block, as well as the external doors leading to Hush's Private Lab and Therapy Room.The same combination also works on the Arcade door and on the secret courtyard hatch behind the Arcade.That hatch provides a shortcut into the lower ICA Facility area.A whiteboard in Hush's Private Lab shows the combination, which explains why it is reused throughout his building.The old guide claimed that the code works on almost every terminal in the underground laboratory. That is too broad. Many actual ICA Facility doors use access dongles and the camera-hacking system instead of a numeric keypad.

Mendoza Codes: The Farewell

Mendoza contains two fixed combinations.

1945 - Grand Paladin Wine Fridge

The code 1945 disables the laser security system protecting the rare 1945 Grand Paladin wine in the Wine Fridge.The clue is intentionally obvious. The wine comes from 1945, and nearby dialogue also references the final year of World War II.The bottle is important during the Closing Statement Mission Story.Enter 1945 on the terminal beside the laser-protected display, then take the Grand Paladin.

2006 - Villa Basement Safe

The code 2006 opens the safe in the basement of Don Archibald Yates' villa.The combination is based on the year Yates and his wife Valentina were married.A calendar in the villa office indicates that the couple are celebrating their crystal anniversary in 2021. A crystal anniversary marks 15 years, which leads to 2006.Inside the safe is a Report on Data Leak.Giving this document to Valentina Yates exposes what her husband did to her career and can trigger a proxy assassination in which she kills Don Yates herself.

Carpathian Mountains Code: Untouchable

The final campaign mission contains one fixed keypad code.

1979 - Cold-Storage Room Door

The code 1979 opens the cold-storage room near the beginning of the mission aboard the Providence train.You do not need to solve a complicated puzzle. The number 1979 is printed on a large poster near the door.Inside the room is a Rusty Crowbar.The crowbar allows Agent 47 to force open the heavy door required to continue through the train.

Do the Same Codes Work in Freelancer?

The fixed door combinations above still work when Freelancer sends you to one of these locations and the original keypad is present.However, Freelancer safes are different.Those safes are generated as part of the Freelancer contract system. You cannot open them with one universal fixed combination from this guide. Instead, use the camera to scan three clues located near the safe.Once all required clues are found, Agent 47 can open that Freelancer safe.This is why a code such as 1975 or 6927 may still open the original campaign safe or door on the map, but it will not automatically open a separate Freelancer objective safe.
