How to Complete Cloud Retainer's Abode

Enter Cloud Retainer's Abode and activate the first Pyro Monument to begin the combat challenge. Defeat the enemies, then use the nearby device to rotate the bridge and reach the next platform.

How to Complete Cloud Retainer's Abode

Defeat the Hilichurls on the next platform to unlock another rotation mechanism. Use it to connect the bridge to the left-hand platform with five Pyro Monuments. This puzzle is not random guesswork. Activate the challenge and watch carefully as the monuments light up. You need to repeat the sequence shown by the game. There are three stages:

• Repeat a sequence of 3 Pyro Monuments to unlock a Common Chest.
• Repeat a sequence of 4 Pyro Monuments within 60 seconds to unlock an Exquisite Chest.
• Repeat a sequence of 5 Pyro Monuments within 75 seconds to unlock a Precious Chest and activate a Wind Current.

Return to the previous platform and rotate the bridge toward the opposite side. There is also a Common Chest hidden behind crates on one of the side platforms.Use the Wind Current to reach the upper section. Continue until you arrive at a platform with six Pyro Monuments. Every other monument begins active. Lighting one changes the state of the monuments next to it.The easiest solution is to activate the monuments that were unlit at the start. In other words, hit every other monument rather than randomly firing at all six. Solving this puzzle unlocks another Exquisite Chest and the final bridge mechanism.Rotate the bridge, reach Cloud Retainer, and watch the cutscene to complete the domain.
