The headline addition is Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War, a new PvP mode for 12 players divided into six teams of two. Each duo fights for control of the Infinity Stones, and the first team to collect all six wins the match. The playable roster is restricted to heroes associated with Avengers: Infinity War, while the mode introduces its own Infinity Stone mechanics that can dramatically change how each round plays out. Each team begins with one Infinity Stone, and victories allow successful duos to take Stones from their opponents. The mode is built around short 2v2 encounters rather than the standard Marvel Rivals team format, so positioning and synergy between two characters matter much more than a normal six-player composition. Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War remains available from October 9 through December 11.The Infinity Finale seasonal event also begins with Season 10.5. Completing event quests can unlock Thor's The Avengers costume for free, while additional rewards include Avengers: Infinity War-inspired cosmetics for characters such as Black Panther and Doctor Strange. The update also adds several new store bundles. Devil Dinosaur receives the Skele-Saurus bundle, while Blade gets Vampire King. Cyclops receives the Phoenix Cyclops bundle, and an Infinity Gauntlet accessory has also been added. Halloween therefore remains part of the season's presentation, but the confirmed cosmetics differ from some of the early rumors circulating before the patch.Times Square also hosts a limited Avengers: Infinity War celebration with movie highlight screenings and themed photo opportunities. Watching the screening for two minutes unlocks a Gallery Card, while using the photo area can reward an Avengers spray and 100 Units. Alchemax Headquarters has also been added to the 18 VS.18 mode.Season 10.5 is available on the same supported Marvel Rivals platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
