In a recent interview with PCGamesN, Escape from Tarkov game director Nikita Buyanov not only shared new details about the ambitious Fragmentary Order, which he describes as "ten Tarkovs," but also discussed the launch of Battlestate Games Publishing. The new publishing arm is focused on supporting risky and niche projects.Nikita Buyanov described Fragmentary Order, currently in development at his separate studio RANT, as "ten Tarkovs" and said the team's entire experience with EFT felt like a kind of test for the new project. Fragmentary Order is being positioned as a next-generation multiplayer tactical combat simulator set in hazardous environments. The game takes place in 2251, long after a global crisis nearly wiped out civilization. According to Buyanov, the project is deliberately being designed to be "way more complex," "way more punishing," and "way more real" than EFT. The footage shown so far includes ruined industrial environments and large-scale combat scenes.Image unavailableBattlestate Games has also officially launched its own publishing division, Battlestate Games Publishing. Buyanov summarized the company's approach by saying: "We want to publish the games we want to make and play," adding that the goal is to help detailed, uncompromising, hardcore, and immersive ideas come to life "to make hardcore live forever."Partner studios retain full ownership of their intellectual property. Battlestate Games Publishing can provide development funding, marketing and platform support, as well as access to the company's expertise, resources, and multimillion-player community.Escape from Tarkov remains a priority for Battlestate Games. The studio has already introduced PvP Seasons and continues to update the game, including a major recent rework of the Lighthouse location.
