In Brawl Stars' Scary Coffins event, players vote on which coffin to open next and try to guess the rewards hidden inside. Voting and predicting use different buttons on the event screen, and a correct guess earns you an extra Chaos Drop. In this guide, we'll explain how to submit your predictions, claim the bonus, and change your answers after new coffins are revealed.
What's the Difference Between Voting and Predicting?
Open Scary Coffins using the event button on the Brawl Stars home screen. You'll see the coffins themselves and small square slots beneath them. Tapping these elements does two different things:
Voting means choosing the coffin you want to open with the rest of the community. Tap the coffin itself.
Predicting means guessing what's inside. Tap the square with a plus sign beneath a coffin and select a reward.
For example, you might vote for one coffin but correctly predict the contents of another one that the community eventually chooses. You'll still receive the bonus for your correct guess. The important thing is to assign a reward to the coffin before it opens. Simply voting for the winning coffin doesn't count as a correct prediction.Image unavailable
How to Vote for a Coffin
Choose an unopened coffin, tap it, and confirm your vote. Check its number first. Coffins can appear in different positions on the page, so following a screenshot that says "third from the left" isn't very helpful. You get one vote per day, and you can't change it once you've confirmed your choice. When the next voting round begins, you'll be able to pick another coffin. The event also has a shared objective: complete enough quests to reach 100 million per day as a community. Voting determines which coffin players want opened, while completing quests helps reach the collective goal. The percentages next to the coffins show how much support each one has. They don't represent your chances of getting a rare reward or prove that a popular prediction is correct. We recommend checking the clues before confirming your vote. A fancy-looking coffin doesn't guarantee a generous reward. Seven coins are among the possible prizes, after all. If you've already voted, move on to your predictions. You can edit those separately.
How to Predict a Coffin's Reward
Tap the square beneath an unopened coffin. A list of possible rewards will appear. Choose the one you think is inside, and its icon will appear beneath the coffin. You can fill in predictions for every unopened coffin, not just the one you voted for today.Image unavailableEach reward has only one slot on the board, so you can't assign the same prize to several coffins at once. If you move an assigned reward to another coffin, its previous slot will become empty. Check the other predictions after rearranging them. It's easy to fix one guess and accidentally leave another unanswered. You can change an assigned reward while its coffin remains closed. Once the coffin opens, your prediction is locked. You can't enter a result that's already been revealed and collect a bonus for it. That's why we recommend filling in the whole board early, even if you're unsure about a few numbers. You can revise the questionable picks later.
How to Claim a Chaos Drop for a Correct Prediction
A correct guess earns you a Chaos Drop. After a coffin opens, return to the event page and find the newly revealed coffin. If your prediction matches the actual reward, tap the marked correct answer beneath it. Then select Claim Reward in the window that appears. The community reward inside the coffin and your personal prediction bonus are awarded separately. Check the shop for coins, Bling, or other gifts distributed after the community reveal. To collect your personal Chaos Drop, return to your correct prediction on the event page. If the claim button gives you an error, reopen the event and try again. If there's no bonus, check what you selected before the coffin was opened. You may have voted for it without filling in the prediction slot underneath. Your guess also needs to match the exact reward. Three Chaos Drops, five Chaos Drops, and an Ultra Chaos Drop are three different answers. Similar-looking icons can cost you a correct prediction.
How to Update Your Predictions Every Day
After each new reveal, check the actual result first and claim your bonus if you guessed correctly. Then review your predictions for the remaining coffins. Since the rewards don't repeat, you can rule out a revealed prize from all your other guesses. This is especially useful for coffins where you were torn between the same possible rewards.Image unavailableFor example, coffin #2 contained five Chaos Drops on October 20. Many predictions had linked it to an Ultra Chaos Drop, but that guess turned out to be wrong. If you used an older answer guide, check your other assignments. The five Chaos Drops have already been found, while the Ultra reward is still hidden in one of the unopened coffins. It's too late to change your answer for #2, so focus on updating the remaining predictions. We recommend following this routine:
Check which coffin was opened and what reward it actually contained.
Claim your Chaos Drop if your prediction was correct.
Remove the revealed reward from your remaining guesses and revise any uncertain assignments.
Check that rearranging reward icons hasn't left any slots empty.
Vote for the next coffin and keep completing quests.
Watch the timer on the event page. The daily voting reset takes place at 08:00 UTC, or 11:00 AM Moscow time. The reveal video may appear a little later. Make sure you've saved your predictions before the countdown ends, rather than waiting for the reward video to come out.
Can You Know All the Correct Answers in Advance?
An answer is only confirmed once its coffin opens. Before that, the artwork on the lids, gravestones, and inscriptions offers clues, nothing more. Compare them with the available reward icons, account for the prizes that have already been revealed, and treat uncertain theories as guesses. Even a confident prediction from community discussions isn't guaranteed to be right. Coffin #2 has already shown that.Scary Coffins runs from October 15 to October 26, 2026. During the event, the community will open 12 of the 24 coffins, including two on the final day. Fill in predictions for every available number, since the community may choose a completely different coffin from the one you voted for. You can check new results on the official Scary Coffins event page, but it's more convenient to claim your personal rewards by opening it from within the game.
