The Stone of Jordan returned in Diablo 4 Season 15 as one of the iconic items from earlier games in the series. The ring is called Stone of Jordan in Blizzard's official English localization, and every class can use it. The main problem is that it does not have a standard dedicated boss with its own loot table, so there is little point in endlessly farming something like Duriel and hoping for a guaranteed drop.If you specifically want the Stone of Jordan, we recommend two methods. The more controllable option is to turn Common white Rings into random Uniques with the Horadric Cube. If your character can already handle high Torment tiers comfortably, farm the Hell version of Worldstone Keep and the Echo of Baal at the same time. Current Season 15 reports repeatedly confirm Stone of Jordan drops there among the returning Legacy Uniques.

What does the Stone of Jordan do?
Stone of Jordan is a Unique Ring available to every class. Its main power makes all of your Resistances equal to your highest Resistance while also increasing your damage with that Element by 15-25%.The ring also grants +2 to All Skills. This makes it especially useful for builds centered around a single main type of elemental damage. You can stack one Resistance, let the ring bring the others up to the same value, and gain a damage multiplier for that Element at the same time.We recommend looking at Stone of Jordan as more than a defensive item. In the right build, it can free up several Resistance affixes on your gear while strengthening your main damage source, so a good roll can easily remain useful deep into the endgame. Can Stone of Jordan drop from a specific boss?
Not through the standard Unique target-farming system. Stone of Jordan belongs to the general Unique loot pool and is not assigned to a regular Lair Boss. It can drop in Nightmare Dungeons, Helltide, The Pit, Kurast Undercity, and other activities that award Unique items. That makes general world farming a poor method if you are specifically looking for this ring. You can spend an entire evening in Helltide, find a dozen Uniques, and still never see a Stone of Jordan. If this is the exact item you need, we recommend using more targeted methods instead of relying entirely on random drops. The best way to get Stone of Jordan: Horadric Cube
The most controlled option is the Upgrade to Unique recipe in the Horadric Cube. It turns a Common item into a random Unique of the same item type. That means you need to use a Common white Ring if you are trying to get Stone of Jordan. One attempt requires:- 1 Common Ring.
- 1 Enhanced Primordial Dust.
- 10 Raw Primordial Dust.
Which class is best for crafting Stone of Jordan?
The size of the Unique Ring pool differs by class. According to current Season 15 item databases, Barbarian has the smallest pool, giving it one of the best mathematical chances of producing Stone of Jordan through Upgrade to Unique. However, we do not recommend leveling a Barbarian solely for one ring if you actually need it on another class. Some item properties can matter more to a specific character, and a few extra Cube attempts are usually cheaper than leveling an entirely separate character just for a slightly smaller loot pool. If you already have a Barbarian, great, you can use it for a batch of transmutations. If not, you can safely craft the Rings on your main character.Where to farm Primordial Dust for more attempts
The main bottleneck for this recipe is usually Enhanced Primordial Dust. Higher-quality Primordial Dust becomes more common at higher difficulty levels, so farming it on the lowest difficulty your character can access is inefficient.Raw and Enhanced Primordial Dust can be obtained from:- Cube Spoils in War Plans.
- Tree of Whispers Caches.
- Elite monsters.
- Kurast Undercity and other endgame activities that reward Horadric Cube materials.
Farming Stone of Jordan from Baal
If your character has already reached the higher difficulty tiers, another strong route is Worldstone Keep and the Echo of Baal. We are specifically talking about the Hell version of the large Waking Nightmare found at high Torment tiers, not the lower-difficulty version.Blizzard does not list Stone of Jordan as a guaranteed personal drop from Baal, so we are not going to promise the ring after five or ten kills. However, since the season launched, Worldstone Keep has become one of the most frequently confirmed places to find the item. Players and current Season 15 guides regularly report both normal and rarer versions of Stone of Jordan dropping after Echo of Baal kills. If you can already clear this fight quickly, we recommend alternating Baal runs with Horadric Cube transmutations. It creates a productive loop: farm endgame content, collect loot and materials, check for a direct drop, then spend the Primordial Dust you accumulated on more Common Ring conversions. You can read more about Baal and the seasonal powers in our guide to the Prime Evil powers. Can you get Stone of Jordan before high Torment tiers?
Yes. The ring belongs to the general Unique loot pool and can drop earlier, so you do not need to wait for Torment X just to get your first copy. Players have reported Stone of Jordan drops at lower Torment tiers, and the item itself is not exclusively tied to the Hell version of Baal.Higher difficulty matters for efficiency, not because it unlocks the drop. The faster and more consistently your character earns Unique items and Horadric Cube materials, the more attempts you can make in the same amount of time. That is why we do not recommend forcing a weak character through an overly difficult Worldstone Keep. If a single Baal kill takes ten minutes and regularly sends you back to the respawn point, farming materials and using the Cube will be much more productive. How to get a Mythic Stone of Jordan
Stone of Jordan can exist as more than a standard Unique. Stronger Mythic versions can appear in the endgame, and this returning Legacy Unique can also be crafted into a Unique Charm for the Talisman system. If you find a regular copy with a poor Unique Power roll, do not rush to throw it away. The Horadric Cube has a separate transmutation that can reroll the value of a Unique item's power, and three copies of the same Unique can be recycled into a new version of that same Unique. We recommend getting a usable copy first and only then chasing a perfect one. For most builds, a solid regular Stone of Jordan will provide far more immediate value than spending twenty hours farming for a perfect roll that refuses to appear.Do not waste Stone of Jordan on the old Hellfire Torch recipe
During the first days of Season 15, an incorrect version of the secret recipe spread across foreign websites and videos, claiming that Stone of Jordan was required to obtain Wirt's Lucky Coins. That is not true. The correct recipe uses only the three Splinters of Evil: Splinter of Terror, Splinter of Destruction, and Splinter of Hatred. You do not need to add Stone of Jordan, so do not put a rare ring into the Cube for a combination that does not require it.We cover the correct sequence in our Hellfire Torch guide. What is the fastest way to farm Stone of Jordan?
If you only need one usable copy, we recommend the following route:- Pick up Common white Rings instead of automatically leaving them on the ground.
- Farm Raw and Enhanced Primordial Dust at the highest difficulty your character can clear comfortably.
- Turn every suitable Common Ring into a Unique with Upgrade to Unique.
- If you can already kill the Hell version of Baal quickly, farm Worldstone Keep at the same time for direct drops.
- Once you get a solid first copy, start chasing better rolls and stronger versions afterward.
