Graveyard Keeper 2 Town Orders Guide: Supplies and Deliveries

The Town Warehouse in Graveyard Keeper 2 is the hub for the entire Town order system. This is where the Keeper accepts contracts from merchants, delivers finished Supply crates, and collects money and Likes. The system can be confusing at first: Jack asks for iron, you bring Iron Ingots, and the warehouse acts as if nothing happened. That's because orders require special items called Supplies, not ordinary resources.Below, we'll explain the entire system: how to unlock the warehouse, which day you can accept orders, how to make the crates, how urgent orders differ from regular ones, and how you can later automate deliveries through the Factory.

How to Unlock the Town Warehouse

The order system unlocks through the story after you free the Port district of the Town. During the Docked and Found quest, the Keeper meets Jack again and later receives the Workshop Hours quest from him. This is the quest that introduces the order board. Jack asks you to complete your first Town contract, Supply: Iron ×1, and then speak to him again once the order has been fully completed. After that, regular repeatable orders become available, and as you restore the Town's shops, new merchants and new types of Supplies begin appearing on the board.

Where to Accept Orders

The order board is located inside the Town Warehouse. New contracts can only be accepted on Pride day, the fifth day of the six-day week, marked by its corresponding symbol on the calendar. There is one exception: the first time you unlock the board, it remains available until the end of the following Pride day so Jack's story order does not force you to wait almost an entire week.
You can have no more than two active orders at the same time.Before confirming an order, check:
  • which exact Supply is required;
  • how many crates are needed;
  • whether the order is urgent or regular;
  • whether you have the required recipe and workstation;
  • whether your production can finish the full amount before the next Pride day.
Early on, it is best to accept orders for goods you can already produce consistently. Two expensive contracts with attractive rewards are not much use if both slots are occupied and the recipes you need are still three story quests away.

What Are Supplies?

Town orders never accept ordinary raw materials directly. If the board asks for Supply: Iron, you cannot bring eight Iron Ingots and place them in the warehouse. You first need to craft a separate crate with the exact name Supply: Iron. The same rule applies to every other category.For example:
  • Supply: Iron;
  • Supply: Fabric;
  • Supply: Building materials I;
  • Supply: Building materials II;
  • Supply: Furniture I;
  • Supply: Furniture II;
  • Supply: Iron Tools;
  • Supply: Steel Tools;
  • Supply: Kitchen Utensils;
  • Supply: Cutlery I;
  • Supply: Flour Sack;
  • Supply: Beer;
  • Supply: Wine;
  • Supply: Preserves I;
  • Supply: Preserves II;
  • Supply: Appliances I;
  • Supply: Engineering Mechanism.
There are 22 types of Town Supplies in the current version. Their recipes are spread across different workstations, although most late-game crates are assembled at Assembly Benches.

How to Complete Jack's First Order

During Workshop Hours, Jack asks for just one Supply: Iron crate.
Early in the game, you can craft it at Woodworking Workbench I or II using:
  • 6 Iron Ingots;
  • 4 Boards;
  • 8 Bronze Nails.
The recipe is unlocked through the Iron Forge technology.Later, a simpler recipe becomes available at Assembly Bench I–III:
  • 8 Iron Ingots = 1 Supply: Iron.
The first recipe saves two Ingots, while the second is easier to integrate into automated production.If you do not have enough iron yet, set up a reliable supply first. We have a separate guide to finding iron and unlocking the Iron Mine.

Where to Deliver Finished Crates

A finished Supply must be physically placed in the crates at the Town Warehouse or the Warehouse Cellar. Leaving it on the floor, putting it in an ordinary chest, or keeping it in your inventory is not enough. Once the delivery is registered correctly, the order counter changes. Jack's first contract, for example, will show 1/1. You can deliver crates on any day of the week. Pride day is specifically used for selecting new contracts and for the system's weekly settlement.

Why Does the Order Show 1/1 but I Still Haven't Received the Reward?

Because delivering the goods and collecting the reward are separate steps. A regular order takes matching crates as they arrive, and once the order is complete, the finished result appears on the board and must be collected manually. A repeatable contract becomes available to accept again starting from the next Pride day. Jack's first order is especially easy to mistake for a bug. If the Supply has already been counted but the next dialogue step has not appeared, return to the board after the next weekly settlement and collect the completed order.

What Is the Difference Between an Urgent and a Regular Order?

This is one of the most important rules of the warehouse system.

Regular Order

A regular contract accepts crates as they arrive and keeps your progress between weeks. If it requires 10 Supply: Fabric crates, you can deliver four now, three more after your next production run, and finish the order later. Crates that have already been counted are not lost.

Urgent Order

An urgent contract only processes the order when the entire required amount is present in the warehouse at the same time. If the order requires 10 crates and you only managed to deliver six, it will not take them. At the start of the next Pride day, any goods still sitting in the warehouse will be sold at their base price, and you will have to prepare the urgent delivery again.
Urgent orders usually reward more Likes for this reason.
Regular contracts are therefore safer early in the game. Urgent orders are worth taking once your raw materials are already flowing steadily and you know for certain that the required amount can be produced within a week.

What Rewards Do Town Orders Give?

Several separate systems are involved here, and they should not be confused. Completing a Town order rewards Likes. This is the contract reward that you collect from the order board. In addition, every Supply crate used is paid for at its base price, and this money is also collected from the board.The game also has a separate item called Town Gratitude. This is not another name for Likes and is not the standard reward for every warehouse order. For example, Jack gives you one Town Gratitude after you complete the story stage of Workshop Hours, while ordinary repeatable contracts on the board reward Likes and money.The first Supply: Iron order rewards 20 Likes. Once it is complete and you speak to Jack, you separately receive reputation with him and the story rewards.

What Happens at the Start of Pride Day?

At the start of each new Pride day, the warehouse performs its weekly settlement. The system:
  1. checks active orders;
  2. counts matching crates;
  3. checks whether the full required amount for an urgent order is present at once;
  4. sells any remaining unclaimed Supplies at their base price;
  5. leaves the money at the order board;
  6. returns completed repeatable contracts to the list of available orders.
This means the warehouse can be used not only for contracts but also to sell spare Supply crates. Early in the game, however, deliberately sending expensive Supplies there without an active order is usually not worthwhile. It is better to keep the materials for future contracts and construction.

How to Unlock New Orders

The number of contracts available is directly tied to restoring the Town. When you repair a new shop, its owner begins appearing on the order board. Upgrading a shop to Tier II or III adds new and larger Supply orders.For example, Town orders can request:
  • Supply: Building materials I and II;
  • Supply: Iron Tools and Supply: Steel Tools;
  • Supply: Fabric;
  • Supply: Furniture I and II;
  • Supply: Kitchen Utensils;
  • Supply: Flour Sack;
  • Supply: Beer;
  • Supply: Wine;
  • Supply: Engineering Mechanism.
Restoring the Town therefore opens both new places to trade and a larger permanent market for your production.

Where Are Supplies Crafted?

The first Supply recipes are spread across ordinary workstations.For example:
  • Supply: Iron — Woodworking Workbench or Assembly Bench;
  • Supply: Fabric — Woodworking Workbench I or Assembly Bench I;
  • Supply: Building materials I — Assembly Bench I–III;
  • Supply: Iron Tools — Assembly Bench II;
  • Supply: Furniture I — Assembly Bench II;
  • Supply: Beer, Supply: Wine, Supply: Flour Sack, and Preserves — Kitchen I;
  • later Tier II Supplies — upgraded Assembly Benches and other high-level stations.
For example, Supply: Building materials I is crafted at an Assembly Bench from a Stone Kit and Brick. The Town order requires the finished crate with that exact name. If the recipe does not appear, check the required technology, mastery level, and station extension. We cover this in more detail in our guide to technologies and mastery.

How to Automate Town Supplies

Later, the entire system moves into the Factory and requires very little manual hauling.Automation uses:
  • Assembly Benches and other production stations;
  • zombie workers;
  • Supply Station;
  • Supply Storage;
  • Porter Station;
  • Zombie Supply Porter.
Finished crates are sent to a Supply Station, after which a zombie can move them through the delivery system to the Warehouse Cellar. With a fully developed production chain, the Keeper mostly needs to choose two suitable orders on Pride day and collect the payment. Before automation is available, there is little reason to produce large amounts of Supply crates in advance. During the first few weeks, it is more efficient to keep a modest stock of Iron Kits, woodworking materials, Bricks, and Fabric, then assemble the finished crates after choosing a specific order.

Which Orders Are Best Early in the Game?

Choose orders whose raw materials you already produce consistently. If the Iron Mine is running, Supply: Iron orders are convenient. If you have a stockpile of Fabric, take the corresponding contract. If you have reliable Brick and Building Kit production, you can move on to Building materials. Save urgent contracts for the point where you are confident in your production capacity. Regular orders can be completed in stages, so they are much more forgiving.

Why Isn't My Order Completing?

Check the following in order:
  • the order has actually been accepted at the board;
  • you crafted the exact Supply: ... item rather than the raw materials;
  • the crate was placed in the Town Warehouse or Warehouse Cellar;
  • for an urgent order, the full required amount is present at the same time;
  • the completed reward has been collected from the order board;
  • if this is Jack's story quest, speak to him again after completing the order.
In most cases, the problem is the crafting step: the game asks for Supply: Iron, and the player quite reasonably brings iron. Unfortunately, the warehouse does not care about that logic. It wants a properly packed crate.

Quick Summary: How the Town Warehouse Works

The full cycle looks like this:
  1. On Pride day, open the board and choose up to two orders.
  2. Note the exact Supply name and required amount.
  3. Craft the corresponding crates at the appropriate workstations.
  4. Deliver them to the Town Warehouse or Warehouse Cellar.
  5. Regular orders can be completed in stages, while urgent orders require the full amount at once.
  6. Collect your Likes and money from the board once the order is complete.
  7. Restore and upgrade the Town's shops to unlock new contracts.
After your first order, the system becomes easy to understand. The main thing is not to confuse raw materials with Supplies or Likes with the separate Town Gratitude item. From there, the warehouse becomes a straightforward production loop: make the required goods, pack them, deliver them, and collect your payment.
