In the Evacuation Zone in CONTROL Resonant, you can find the Könstig Gallery, which contains one of the game's early secret puzzles. To solve it, you need to illuminate four specific paintings based on a note near the entrance. In this guide, we'll explain where to find the gallery, which paintings to choose, and what you can find inside the secret room.
The gallery is located roughly in the central part of the Evacuation Zone, near a Fast Travel Door. Once inside, find the counter near the entrance and pick up the document lying on it.Image unavailableThe note, Paintings Sold This Month, lists four paintings: Journey, Windows, Thunder, and Tides. These names are the clue you need to solve the puzzle.
How to Solve the Painting Puzzle
Image unavailableSeveral groups of paintings are displayed on the walls, each with a nearby light switch. You need to illuminate the paintings that match the titles listed in the note.Start with the wall on the left. Choose the middle painting showing a road leading toward a tree. This represents Journey.Next, move to the wall ahead and illuminate the first painting on the left, which shows intertwined branches. This one represents Windows.Then move to the next group on the right and select the first painting on the left, showing a large tree standing in the middle of a plain. This is Thunder.Finally, at the next group of paintings along the right wall, illuminate the middle image showing a fallen tree in the water. This represents Tides.So, if you count the paintings in each group from left to right, the correct combination is:
second painting;
first painting;
first painting;
second painting.
Once all four correct paintings are illuminated, a secret passage will open to the left of the far wall.
Painting Puzzle Reward
Go through the newly opened passage and explore the hidden rooms. Inside, you will find two documents as well as an ice cream box containing a Health Upgrade Point.
