To fully reveal the map of Manhattan in CONTROL Resonant, you need to activate the Map Kit Pylon in each major zone. Every Pylon has three nearby Sensors that must be found and calibrated first. In this guide, we'll show you where to find all seven Map Kit Pylons and their Sensors.
When you enter a new major zone, open the map and look for the pylon icon. This marks the location of the Map Kit Pylon. To activate it and reveal the detailed map, you first need to bring three nearby Sensors online. Keep in mind that some areas, especially those tied to story missions, may not have a map at all. Map Kit Pylons are found in the game's main large zones.
Downtown
The first Map Kit Pylon is located in Downtown and serves as an introduction to the mechanic. The Pylon is marked on the map once you enter the zone, and three Sensors with blinking red lights can be found around it.Image unavailableAll three are on the rooftops of nearby buildings close to the Pylon. Two Sensors are on rooftops connected by an FBC walkway, while the third is on the basketball court near the fast travel door.Activate all three Sensors, then return to the Pylon and interact with it to reveal the Downtown map.
Central
In Central, head to the FBC Field Office. The Map Kit Pylon sits on top of the orange containers being used as temporary structures.Once you're next to the Pylon, look northwest. All three Sensors are in front of you within roughly a 180-degree arc, making them fairly easy to spot here. Activate each one, then return to the Pylon.Image unavailable
Evacuation Zone
The Evacuation Zone Pylon is located roughly in the center of the area, east of the Sinkhole. Climb onto the rooftop, where you'll find both the Pylon and a fast travel door. The first Sensor is directly north of the Pylon, only a few meters away. The second is to the east on the neighboring section of the rooftop, almost right beside the Pylon. Look for the third across the street to the southeast. The yellow parachutes hanging from the edges of nearby buildings are another useful landmark for finding the Sensors.Image unavailable
West Incursion Zone
The Map Kit Pylon is located near the House of Mirrors. Cross the road and enter the small courtyard where the Pylon is installed. Before you can activate it, you'll need to defeat Leo, the miniboss guarding the area. Once the fight is over, start looking for the Sensors. The first two are directly on the road running alongside the theater. The third is north of the Pylon. Activate all three Sensors, then return to the central Pylon to reveal the West Incursion Zone map.
The Park
The Park becomes accessible after completing the objective involving Jesse's sighting in the Evacuation Zone. The area itself is heavily infested with Mold enemies. The Map Kit Pylon is located roughly in the center of The Park, near several large flying Mold creatures. If you're facing the Pylon from the Park Valley fast travel door, the first Sensor is on the rooftop to the left. The second Sensor is east of the Pylon, down in a depression between Mold-infested buildings. Enemies patrol the area, so you may need to clear them out before activating the Sensor. The final Sensor is northeast of the Pylon, on the street near a building with a neon Bar sign.Image unavailable
Underpass
The Underpass unlocks as part of the story when Dylan heads beneath the Sinkhole for the second time. After entering the zone, make your way toward the northeastern section by climbing across the floating platforms. At the end of the route, you'll reach a separate platform with the Map Kit Pylon. All three Sensors are located on the nearby floating platforms surrounding the central Pylon. The main challenge here isn't finding the devices, but dealing with the Hiss enemies guarding the area.Once you've cleared them out, move between the platforms opposite the central platform and activate all three Sensors, then return to the Pylon.Image unavailable
The Unknown
The final Map Kit Pylon is located in The Unknown. After arriving by elevator and speaking with Pope, use the floating platform to change the orientation of the environment, then drop down toward the street below. Continue across the buildings, changing the direction of gravity and using Reach to climb higher. The Pylon itself is on the rooftop of a tall building roughly in the center of the zone.Once you reach the Pylon, look north. Two Sensors will be visible to the left and right. The final Sensor is on the rooftop of the building to the left of the huge HOTEL sign.Image unavailableThe Unknown is significantly more dangerous than the previous zones. The source recommends having around 100 Aberrant Power, since you'll encounter Hiss, Mold, and Hedron enemies here. If Dylan is noticeably weaker, it's easier to activate the Sensors quickly and avoid getting drawn into unnecessary fights.Once you activate the final Pylon, the maps for all major zones will be fully revealed.
