In CONTROL Resonant, you can completely rebuild Dylan's progression if your chosen Talents, abilities, or Aberrant upgrades no longer suit your playstyle. However, simply changing your weapon Form does not require a full respec at all. In this guide, we'll explain how to reset your progression and switch between unlocked Aberrant Forms.

How to Respec

Respeccing requires a special Reset Item. You can obtain these from certain quests, including main story missions, or purchase them from merchants. Keep in mind that one Reset Item only resets a single progression category. You can separately reset Aberrant upgrades, including its Primary Forms, Secondary Forms, and Combo Finishers, your Talents, or your Combat Abilities.
Once you have a Reset Item, travel to The Gap and open the progression section you want to change. Select Reset All, then redistribute the refunded points and rebuild that part of your setup. If you only want to swap one Aberrant Form for another, you do not need to spend a Reset Item.

How to Change Aberrant Forms

First, you need to unlock an alternative Aberrant Form through the corresponding upgrade tree in The Gap. Once a Form has been unlocked, you can freely switch between your available options.
Open the main menu and go to Loadout. Select the Primary Form, Secondary Form, or Combo Finisher slot you want to change. The next screen shows all unlocked options, their stats, and how many upgrades you have purchased for each one.Choose the Form you want and continue playing. You do not need to reset your Talents, Combat Abilities, or any other upgrades, so Aberrant Forms can be freely swapped to better suit particular enemies and bosses.
