Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Sends the Series to the Korean Peninsula

Modern Warfare 4 opens with Private Park, a young South Korean soldier experiencing live combat for the first time as the invasion tears through the peninsula. The campaign follows Park and his squad through trench warfare and large-scale fighting in Korea, while other missions expand the conflict to locations including New York, Paris, and Mumbai.Captain Price also returns as a major part of the story rather than a cameo. He is AWOL, off the grid, and operating outside the system while being hunted by former allies. Official campaign material describes Price working with unlikely partners, including connections to the Las Almas cartel, as he pursues a larger threat linked to a weapon capable of destabilizing the global balance of power.The campaign deliberately contrasts the collapsing Korean front with Price's shadow war. In Korea, the emphasis is on soldiers trying to survive a conventional invasion. Elsewhere, Price moves through covert operations, night raids, close-quarters combat, and high-speed pursuits as the two storylines gradually converge.Activision has confirmed campaign locations including trench warfare in Korea, close-quarters combat in New York, chases through Paris, SAS night operations in Mumbai, and large urban assaults to reclaim occupied territory.
