Embark Studios has moved away from regular updates in favor of larger, more carefully developed changes. But while we wait for new content, the existing game is already falling apart, and cheaters and dupers keep finding new loopholes. Recent player feedback points to major problems with balance, content, and communication between the developers and the community. Meanwhile, Embark Studios has done little to address these issues publicly, continuing to promise that improvements are coming later.Image unavailableOne of the latest problems is that new players have very little room to learn the game. With the player population having dropped, almost every map now seems to have a PvP-focused player ready to ruin someone else's raid. Their gear is so poorly balanced that they can comfortably wipe out a couple of squads on their own, and that is before you even factor in their experience. The result is a dead-end situation: veteran players are running out of things to do, while newcomers barely get a chance to understand the game and learn how it works. And supposedly, the upcoming major update is meant to fix all of this.Do you think ARC Raiders has any chance of getting back to its original player numbers?
