Eggs in Steal An Egg Roblox can be stolen from biome nests, created in the Laboratory, bought from the shop, or earned through events. A normal biome egg hatches into one specific pet, while special egg pools can contain several possible rewards. This guide covers eggs from every zone, the new Enchanted Forest pets, Laboratory eggs, and limited-time sets. We also explain where to look for the pet you need, how to get your loot back to base, and why a Huge egg is not always a successful run.

How eggs work in Steal An Egg

In Steal An Egg, you take eggs from nests, carry them back to your base, and hatch pets. Once hatched, pets generate money that can be used to improve your base and train Speed. The loop sounds simple, but nests have guardians and other players may have their own plans for your loot. The value of an egg therefore depends not only on what hatches from it, but also on whether you can actually make it home.Biome eggs and special eggs work differently. In a normal nest, each egg belongs to a specific animal. A Chicken Egg hatches a Chicken, while an Ice Dragon Egg hatches an Ice Dragon. Size, weight, and mutations can change the resulting pet's value and income, but they do not turn a Chicken into a Dragon. Shop and Laboratory eggs are different because they contain several possible pets, making the pool and reward chances much more important. This guide was checked against information available on October 7, 2026, including Update 7: Enchanted Forest. Normal biome nests, special pools, and older sources that have since been replaced by newer mechanics are separated below. The English names match the terms used by current community references and are the most useful names for searching the in-game Pet Index.

Where to find eggs and how to bring them back to base

The main map is a corridor of biomes arranged in progression order. The farther you travel from the safe zone, the higher the recommended Speed becomes and the more dangerous the return trip gets. Use the sign at each biome as your live reference. The numbers below are progression landmarks rather than a guarantee that every egg can be carried out safely. Large eggs are heavier, so extra Speed matters much more than thinking the number on the sign should be enough. For your first successful runs:
  • Choose an accessible biome and memorize the route back to base before stealing anything. Do not make the largest egg in the zone your first test run.
  • Approach the nest and take the egg using the interaction prompt. On PC, use the key displayed by the game. On mobile, use the on-screen button.
  • Head straight back to base. The guardian starts chasing after the theft, and stopping for another nearby nest can cost you the entire haul.
  • Place the egg in an empty spot in your pen and wait for it to hatch. The remaining time is displayed on the egg itself.
  • Compare the new pet's income with the pets already using your available slots. Progression benefits more from a useful replacement than from another identical Chicken.
Nests refresh on a roughly five-minute cycle, but a rare pet is not guaranteed to appear every reset. Secret, Eternal, and Divine spawns can be announced server-wide with the pet name and zone. Constantly jumping between random servers is not a substitute for checking whether the egg you actually want has spawned. It is usually more efficient to choose a target and watch the correct biome.

All eggs from normal biomes

The lists below show the pets tied to the eggs in each zone. If you want one specific animal, look for that pet's own egg in the correct biome rather than expecting one generic Forest Egg to roll any Forest pet. Normal zones have eight main biome pets. Angels & Demons is split between Light and Dark pools. Fusion, shop, Laboratory, and event pets are kept in separate sections.

Forest

Where to look: the first biome immediately after the safe zone. It has no separate Speed requirement. The nests are guarded by a Chicken.Local eggs hatch:

  • Ankylosaurus - Mythic.
  • Triceratops - Cosmic.
  • Bronto - Cosmic.
  • T-Rex - Secret.

  • Red Panda - Mythic.
  • Snowy Owl - Cosmic.
  • Koi - Cosmic.
  • Stag - Secret.
  • Oni Tiger - Eternal.
  • Kitsune - Divine.

Titan Temple

Where to look: the eleventh zone, after Cherry Blossom. Recommended Speed is about 7,000,000,000. The nests are guarded by Gorilla King.Local eggs hatch:
  • Spideron - Legendary.
  • Crustacia - Legendary.
  • Bladehide - Mythic.
  • Mantaris - Cosmic.
  • Rhinotaur - Cosmic.
  • Mutant Shark - Secret.
  • Gorilla King - Eternal.
  • Nightflame - Divine.

Angels & Demons

This is the twelfth zone, located after Titan Temple and before Enchanted Forest. Recommended Speed is about 20 billion. The zone alternates between Light and Dark states, so check which side is currently active before searching the nests. If you came for Pegasus and the zone is filled with demonic creatures, you are looking at the wrong pool.On the Angels side, look for:
  • Light Dove - Legendary.
  • Winged Lamb - Mythic.
  • Sacred Moth - Cosmic.
  • Holy Peacock - Cosmic.
  • Pure Jellyfish - Secret.
  • Centaur - Secret.
  • Pegasus - Eternal.
  • ArchAngel - Divine.
The Demons side has a different pool:
  • Flame Sprite - Legendary.
  • Toro - Mythic.
  • Imp - Cosmic.
  • Demon Hound - Cosmic.
  • Gargoyle - Secret.
  • RazorFang - Secret.
  • Skeleton Horse - Eternal.
  • World Burner - Divine.
Equinox and Aetheron do not spawn in these nests. Both are obtained through special fusion. Do not waste time looking for an Aetheron Egg between ArchAngel nests. The required pairs and shrine are covered later in this guide.

Enchanted Forest

The new biome from Update 7 sits at the end of the corridor after Angels & Demons. The sign recommends about 50 billion Speed, and the zone is guarded by Celestial Sunlion. Do not confuse the eight standard biome pets with the secret musical puzzle reward inside the Enchanted Tree. Jitterbug comes from a separate source. The eight normal Enchanted Forest pets are:
  • Prism Gecko - Legendary.
  • Petal Beetle - Mythic.
  • Enchanted Bluejay - Mythic.
  • Astral Jackalope - Cosmic.
  • Spirit Panda - Cosmic.
  • Starry Fox - Secret.
  • Celestial Sunlion - Eternal.
  • Royal Skywhale - Divine.
Current community references still disagree on some reported income values for the newest pets, so we do not present those numbers as final here. Check the value shown on the live egg or pet card. When hunting rare species, knowing the correct biome and pet name is more useful than relying on a polished but unverified income chart.

Dr. Scramble's Laboratory eggs

Dr. Scramble's Lab is in the lobby near the shop. Update 6 replaced the old Rift trade-in system with this Laboratory. Instead of sacrificing three already-hatched pets, the machine asks for three specific eggs. Check the active banner and requested ingredients before collecting anything. If you hatch an egg that the Laboratory currently wants, you still get the pet, but the machine needs the original unhatched egg.The Laboratory rotates between three banners. Do not confuse the chance for a banner to appear with the odds of a specific pet inside that banner because those are two different rolls. Check the current offer, timer, and pity counter in the machine before submitting eggs. The pools below show what each Laboratory egg can produce.

Biohazard Egg

Look for the active Biohazard Pets banner in the Laboratory. A Biohazard Egg can produce one of the following pets:
  • Toxic Rat - Mythic.
  • Radcoon - Cosmic.
  • Toucax - Cosmic.
  • Nuceodile - Secret.
  • Nuclear Mantis - Eternal.

Experimental Egg

The Experimental Pets banner has the following possible rewards:
  • Wheel Hamster - Mythic.
  • Stacked Turtle - Cosmic.
  • Three Headed Chicken - Cosmic.
  • Eyeball Crab - Secret.
  • Dreadstinger - Eternal.

Unstable Egg / Unstable DNA

This banner is labeled Unstable DNA. Its pool contains:
  • Frogfly - Mythic.
  • Spiderpig - Cosmic.
  • Sharkodile - Secret.
  • Rhinobear - Eternal.
  • Octophant - Divine.
Octophant is the main reason many players target this banner, but appearing in the pool does not mean the first egg will hatch it. If Octophant is your goal, wait for the Unstable DNA banner and pay attention to the pity progress shown in the Laboratory. Do not throw valuable eggs into the machine simply because it currently accepts a recipe. First make sure the banner contains the reward you actually want.

Extinction Egg

The Extinction Egg is a limited Robux shop egg introduced in Update 6. Current listings show the offer running until October 10, 2026. Always check the live shop timer before buying because this is a limited package rather than a permanent nest in the Prehistoric biome. A similar extinct-animal theme does not mean you can steal the same egg for free beside the T-Rex.The normal pet pool contains:
  • Glyptodon.
  • Terrorbird.
  • Giant Sloth.
  • Dunkleosteus.
  • Gigantus.
  • Sabertooth.
Each species also has a Skeletal version:
  • Skeletal Glyptodon.
  • Skeletal Terrorbird.
  • Skeletal Giant Sloth.
  • Skeletal Dunkleosteus.
  • Skeletal Gigantus.
  • Skeletal Sabertooth.
Current guides list a separate 1% chance for the Skeletal variant roll, while the normal species themselves use another reward distribution. That does not mean Skeletal Sabertooth has a flat 1% overall hatch chance. The special variant roll and the choice of species are separate parts of the result. Read the shop window carefully to see what each percentage refers to. Also do not confuse Sabertooth from this paid egg with Sabertooth Tiger from the Snow biome because they are separate Index entries.

Luminous Egg

The Luminous Egg arrived with the Angels & Demons update and replaced the Monster Egg in the shop at that time. Later, the Extinction Egg took over the featured limited offer. That means an older guide telling you to "buy it in the shop right now" may no longer be accurate. Check whether Luminous Egg has returned to the current rotation. These pets do not spawn from normal biome nests. The base Luminous Egg pool includes:
  • Spike.
  • Spirit Manta.
  • Abyss Shark.
  • Electric Eel.
  • Terra Snapper.
  • Cthulhu.
Each pet also has a Luminous version:
  • Luminous Spike.
  • Luminous Spirit Manta.
  • Luminous Abyss Shark.
  • Luminous Electric Eel.
  • Luminous Terra Snapper.
  • Luminous Cthulhu.
A Luminous variant is an additional rare result, not a promise that every chosen species has one identical fixed chance. Third-party rarity tables for these variants do not always agree, so trust the live card when the egg is available. For collectors, the key point is simple: Cthulhu and Luminous Cthulhu are separate collection results rather than the same entry with a different color.

Monster Egg

The Monster Egg is an older limited shop pool. It is not found inside Titan Temple and does not appear from a normal nest refresh. Later updates replaced it in the featured paid slot, so permanent availability should not be assumed. Seeing one of its pets in another player's base does not prove that the egg is currently for sale.Monster Egg could hatch:
  • Scorpio.
  • Froggo.
  • Crawler.
  • Crocodon.
  • Krakenoid.
  • Dreadscale.
The pool also includes Mecha variants:
  • Mecha Scorpio.
  • Mecha Froggo.
  • Mecha Crawler.
  • Mecha Crocodon.
  • Mecha Krakenoid.
  • Mecha Dreadscale.
Do not confuse the Mecha variants from Monster Egg with Dr. Scramble's Mech rewards. The theme is similar, but the acquisition methods are different. The normal Crocodile from Jungle, Crocodon from Monster Egg, and Mecha Chompa from Boss Mastery are also three separate pets.

Brainrot Egg

Brainrot Egg belongs to limited pools rather than the normal biome route. Its availability has been tied to shop offers and special events, so an old acquisition method should not be assumed to still work today. Check the current shop and developer announcements before searching for this egg. If the pool is not active, waiting beside a Forest nest will not make it appear. The Brainrot pool includes:
  • Tung Tung Sahur.
  • Bananita Dolphinita.
  • Belula Beluga.
  • Mangolini Parrochini.
  • Bomboclat Crocolat.
  • Strawberry Elephant.
Not every brainrot-style character belongs to this egg. Brr Brr Patapim, Trulimero Trulicina, and Orangutini Ananassini come from normal biomes listed earlier. A pet's name or visual style does not determine its source. Check the specific Index entry or egg pool instead, otherwise you can waste an evening searching for a paid egg when the pet you want is sitting in an ordinary nest.

Rift eggs - Riftborn, Riftbeasts and Shattered Rift

These pools arrived with Update 3 and were tied to the old Rift trade-in mechanic. Players sacrificed three requested pets for an egg from the active pool. After Dr. Scramble's Laboratory arrived, the old lobby trade-in machine was replaced, so instructions telling you to walk up to the Rift Machine and bring three pets describe a previous version of the game. We keep the pools below for collection reference, but do not promise that the original exchange remains available in a current server.

Riftborn Egg

Riftborn included:
  • Rift Eye.
  • Voidmaw.
  • Ventinal.
  • Wendigo.
  • World Eater.

Riftbeasts Egg

Riftbeasts used a different pool:
  • Void Angler.
  • Riftwing.
  • Dreadclaw.
  • Mawbreaker.
  • Void Serpent.

Shattered Rift Egg

The Shattered Rift pool contained:
  • Shardling.
  • Shattered Ram.
  • Shardwing.
  • Shattered Drake.
  • Shattered Colossus.
Abyss Overlord belongs to the Rift event and boss progression rather than automatically being one of the five pets in these three egg pools. Older references sometimes combine every Rift reward into one master list. That can be useful for counting collection entries, but it makes it harder to tell which egg actually produced each pet.

Event and boss eggs and pets

There is no universal nest for event rewards that you can revisit every evening. The correct source depends on the specific activity, progression milestone, and whether the event is still active. Some rewards are granted directly, while others arrive as an egg. For limited distributions, check our Steal An Egg Admin Abuse schedule in advance because the normal five-minute nest cycle does not replace event timing.

Dr. Scramble's Mech Boss Mastery rewards

Defeating Dr. Scramble's Mech increases Boss Mastery. Fresh Update 6 references list the following major milestones:
  • 1 win - Biohazard Egg.
  • 3 wins - Experimental Egg.
  • 10 wins - Eye Bat #021.
  • 25 wins - Citadel Snail #007.
  • 50 wins - Uncoiled Armadillo.
  • 75 wins - Mecha Chompa.
  • 90 wins - Scrambled Unstable Egg.
  • 100 wins - Pink Dragon Experiment #010.
Mecha Scrambler is a separate rare Divine drop from Dr. Scramble's Mech rather than a guaranteed reward for the first clear. Check the live Boss Mastery menu so you do not confuse a random drop with a fixed milestone. If you are collecting methodically, the visible progress track is more reliable than another player's lucky result.

Dragon and other limited rewards

The event collection includes several special dragons:
  • Baby Aurora Dragon.
  • Shadow Dragon.
  • Scorched Dragon.
  • Void Dragon.
  • Ember Dragon.
  • Archdemon Dragon.
Their acquisition is tied to limited events and special distributions rather than normal Volcano nests. Drilla is a separate pet associated with the Monster Obby challenge during Admin Abuse. 67 and Toxic Hedgehog are also limited event pets. Toxic Hedgehog appeared as part of the Update 6 launch distribution. An Index entry does not automatically mean its original event can still be repeated today. The earlier Dr. Scramble event also included Nibbles #013 and Experiment #001. Do not automatically move them into the current Laboratory pools because they belong to a different reward line. If an old offer is gone, submitting eggs to today's Laboratory will not produce a pet that is not shown in the active banner.

Fusion eggs - pets you cannot find in normal nests

Special fusions have their own unique results. They are different from the ordinary Fuse Machine at your base, which turns three identical pets into a new egg of the same species. To create a unique fusion pet, you need the correct pair and the correct location. Remember that the input pets are consumed. A fancy new name does not automatically mean the fused pet makes more money than the two original pets combined.

Equinox and Aetheron

In the Angels & Demons zone, look for the Secret Fusion Shrine behind the large waterfall. The Dark-side route is associated with the lava wall. The two special recipes are:
  • Pegasus + Skeleton Horse -> Equinox Egg.
  • ArchAngel + World Burner -> Aetheron Egg.
Place the Light and Dark pets on their corresponding altars. If you are fusing with another player, use the shrine's intended cooperative system. You do not need to hand your pet to a stranger first, pay them for "activation," or share any account details.

Spirit World Guardian

This fusion is hidden inside the Enchanted Tree. First complete the Wisp quests to open the tree, obtain Cricket's Banjo from the secret music room, and use it to create the bridge to the hidden fusion chamber. The recipe uses Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale.Current reports confirm that the Enchanted Forest fusion requires two players, and each player needs both pets. Simply visiting normal nests is not enough to obtain Spirit World Guardian. Community sources still disagree on or estimate its income, so we do not present one fixed earnings number as confirmed here. Do not sacrifice your best earners only because someone in chat claims the fusion "definitely makes ten times more." Check the live result and current values first.

Jitterbug's secret egg in Enchanted Forest

Jitterbug is a separate secret reward rather than a ninth normal Enchanted Forest biome pet. It is tied to the sealed Enchanted Tree and a music-themed memory puzzle. Looking for Jitterbug between Prism Gecko and Spirit Panda nests will get you nowhere. You first need to unlock the tree interior.Start with the Wisp near the tree and complete its tasks:
  • Steal 20 Enchanted Forest eggs.
  • Complete one fusion using an Enchanted Forest pet at the Fuse Machine in your base. A normal base fusion uses three pets of the same species.
  • Steal one Eternal egg. A suitable Eternal egg from another biome also counts according to current reports. Buying a random Eternal from a special paid pool is not the same as stealing one.
  • Claim the completed stages and choose Return the Wisp, then return to the tree to unlock access.
Inside the tree, find the spiral ramp. The route to the puzzle room involves dropping into the lower gap beneath part of the ramp, which sends you into a room with five colored mushrooms. Repeat the sequence shown by the mushrooms and complete five rounds without making a mistake. There is no fixed universal answer to copy because the puzzle asks you to reproduce the sequence displayed in your own run. After the music room opens, Jitterbug gives you Cricket's Banjo and a Jitterbug Egg. The banjo is then used at the broken path higher inside the tree to create the bridge leading to the special fusion room. One secret therefore helps unlock both Jitterbug and the route toward Spirit World Guardian, but the Guardian is not the reward for solving the mushroom puzzle itself.

How to choose an egg that is actually useful

If you are just starting, fill your base with pets from the biomes you can safely reach, then gradually replace the weakest earners. There is no need to stay in Forest until the entire Index is complete if the next biome already gives much stronger pets. Missing collection entries can be cleaned up later during dedicated runs. Progression and full collection completion are related goals, but they do not need to happen at the same pace. When choosing the next egg to steal, consider:
  • The species you need. If you are filling the Index, a new pet is more valuable than another duplicate.
  • Actual income. Compare live cards while accounting for weight and mutations rather than looking only at the rarity color.
  • Egg weight. A larger egg can be more valuable, but it slows the return trip more heavily.
  • Free pen space. Before hunting a rare pet, make sure you actually have somewhere to place the egg.
  • Acquisition source. A normal nest, the Laboratory, and a limited shop offer are three different systems.
  • Limited-time availability. If you want an event reward, confirm that the relevant event is still active before farming for it.
For high-value targets in normal biome progression, useful landmarks include Ice Dragon in Snow, Lava Dragon in Volcano, Mosasaurus in Prehistoric, and Unicorn in Cosmic. Later zones add targets such as Kitsune, Nightflame, ArchAngel, World Burner, and the rare Enchanted Forest pets. These are hunting targets, not a universal ranking of every individual pet. A lower-rarity animal with strong weight and useful mutations can outperform a poor roll on a rarer species.

Why the egg you need is not spawning

Most of the time, the problem is not a bug. It is the wrong source or the expectation that a rare egg must appear on a fixed schedule. A five-minute refresh does not mean "one Divine egg every five minutes." Shop and event pools do not need to appear in ordinary biomes, while the Angels & Demons zone also depends on which side is currently active.Check these possibilities in order:
  • You are in the wrong biome. Ice Dragon belongs in Snow, Lava Dragon in Volcano, and Royal Skywhale in Enchanted Forest.
  • You need the other side of the zone. Pegasus belongs to Angels, while Skeleton Horse belongs to Demons.
  • The pet is a fusion result. Equinox, Aetheron, and Spirit World Guardian are not ordinary nest spawns.
  • It comes from a special pool. Check the Laboratory or shop rather than the biome corridor.
  • The event ended or the offer was replaced. An old egg can remain in the Index and in player inventories even when there is no current way to buy it.
  • The rare spawn simply has not rolled yet. Missing one specific egg across several resets does not by itself prove a bug.
  • You do not have enough Speed to return safely. Reaching a nest and successfully stealing a heavy egg are two different problems.
If you are hunting a temporary giveaway, check when Steal An Egg Admin Abuse starts and where announcements appear. Even joining Admin Abuse does not guarantee one specific egg because the rewards depend on the session. Ignore offers of a "secret free pet" that require a password, third-party script, or payment outside the game. Taking longer to finish the collection is much better than having to recover a stolen account.
?Frequently Asked Questions
Can one biome egg hatch any pet from that zone?
No. Normal biome pets have their own eggs, and each species-specific egg corresponds to that pet. Random pools containing several possible rewards are a separate category, such as Extinction Egg or the Laboratory eggs.
Does egg color show rarity?
Do not use the normal shell color as standalone proof of rarity. Species, zone, and the egg label matter more when identifying what you stole. Income depends on the resulting pet, weight, and active mutations. A decorative color and a special mutation are not the same thing.
Why is a large egg so hard to carry?
Larger eggs are heavier and slow you down more. A biome's recommended Speed does not guarantee that you can outrun the guardian while carrying every Huge egg. If you keep getting caught, take a smaller egg or train well above the zone's recommendation before trying again.
How long do eggs take to hatch?
Early eggs can hatch in seconds, while late-game rare eggs may take hours. Check the timer on the specific egg because size, special conditions, and acceleration effects can change the wait. There is no useful single hatch time that applies to the entire game.
Can you complete the entire collection without Robux?
Normal biome eggs and the Laboratory trade-in system do not require buying a special shop egg. However, the game's historical collection includes paid limited eggs and rewards from events that have already ended. It would therefore be misleading to promise that every historical Index entry can always be obtained through the currently available free nests.
What should you do with duplicate pets?
Compare income, weight, and mutations first. Weaker duplicates are better candidates for the appropriate fusion than your strongest copy. The ordinary Fuse Machine does not guarantee that the new result will be a better earner, so evaluate the pet after receiving it rather than assuming every fusion automatically improves your base.
