Silent Hill: Townfall — Haldane Hotel Symbol Puzzle Solution

During New Game+ in Silent Hill: Townfall, an additional door with a panel of 25 symbols appears in the Haldane Hotel. It is connected to the secret Sci-Fi ending, and the Strange Access Card hidden behind the door will be needed much later in the game. Where to Find the Symbol Door in the Hotel

The puzzle only appears in New Game+. You cannot open this door during your first playthrough, so there is no reason to return to the hotel specifically for it.Reach Part 2: Zoe and continue playing as Simon. Pick up Richard's Gift in Town Square, which will take you to Shorefront District – Different. Head to the southern part of the district and enter the Haldane Hotel. Go upstairs to find a door with a panel containing 25 different symbols.

How to Solve the Symbol Puzzle

You need to press twelve symbols on the panel in a specific order. Several symbols are used more than once, so make sure to follow the sequence exactly.Press:

Where to Find the Strange Access Card

Once you enter the correct sequence, the door will open. Search the room and pick up the Strange Access Card. You cannot use it immediately. The item is one of the requirements for the secret Sci-Fi ending and will only become useful much later in the game.The card alone is not enough to unlock this ending. During the same New Game+ playthrough, you also need to find and examine three Strange Books.Later, the Strange Access Card is used in SWDP – Different. Once all the requirements are met, you can trigger the secret Sci-Fi ending. Completing this ending also unlocks the Pistol-3000, which becomes available during a subsequent New Game+ playthrough.
