Gear is far from the only thing you can almost completely rebuild through the Horadric Cube in Diablo 4. In Season 15, the system lets you change Talisman affixes, improve their values, reroll Unique powers, and even keep the exact Charm type you need while replacing only its base affixes. This is especially useful in the endgame, when you already have the right item but one bad stat or Skill Rank is keeping it from being perfect. Instead of spending hours farming another copy, you can often fix the item with the right reroll.
Reroll Set Charm transforms your current Charm into another piece from the same set. Its affixes are rerolled at the same time. This makes the recipe useful when you have accumulated plenty of unwanted Charms but are still missing a specific piece required to complete the set.The method can also be used to chase Greater Affixes. However, the result is random, so repeated attempts can consume a large amount of Infused Horadric Resin. What Is Horadric Reroll?
Horadric Reroll keeps the Charm itself but completely regenerates its base affixes. For example, if you specifically need a Linta but the one you found has affixes that are completely useless for your build, you do not need to farm another Linta. Put it into the Horadric Cube and use Horadric Reroll. The item remains a Linta, but its base affixes are replaced.You can repeat this until you get bonuses to the Skills or Resistances you need. This method is more expensive than Reroll Set Charm because it requires Primordial Dust and more Infused Horadric Resin. How to Increase a Skill Rank on a Charm
Suppose your Charm already gives +2 Ranks to the Skill category you need, but the maximum roll is +3. In that case, there is no reason to reroll the entire affix setup again. Use Affix Value Reroll instead.This recipe keeps the affixes themselves but rerolls their numerical values. This means a +2 bonus can potentially become +3 without requiring another copy of the Charm. The same mechanic applies to other base affix values, including Resistances.
How to Reroll a Unique Power
There is a separate Unique Power Reroll recipe for Unique effects. If a Charm or another Unique item already has excellent regular affixes but rolled a weak value on its Unique power, you do not necessarily need to farm another copy. The Horadric Cube can keep the item and reroll only the numerical value of its Unique power.This works not only with Charms but also with regular Unique gear. How to Get a Seal with an Additional Charm Slot
One of the most valuable properties on a Horadric Seal is an additional Charm Slot. One way to obtain it is through 3 to 1 Transmutation, combining three Seals into a new one. The result is random, so the additional slot is not guaranteed, but this gives you a way to gradually recycle large numbers of unwanted Seals.If you already have a Seal with the extra Charm Slot, carefully check its other affixes. Bonuses such as All Stats or increased damage can make it particularly valuable. A low numerical roll can then be improved with Affix Value Reroll. This does not replace the existing affix with another one; it only rerolls its value.
Should You Transmute Every Seal Three-to-One?
Not always. Seals can also be salvaged for Infused Horadric Resin, and this resource is constantly consumed when improving Charms and using other Horadric Cube recipes.If you desperately need the additional Charm Slot, it makes sense to use some of your unwanted Seals for 3 to 1 Transmutation. However, if you are running out of Resin faster than you are finding new Talismans, salvaging excess Seals may be considerably more valuable.
How to Craft a Unique Charm
The Horadric Cube also allows you to craft Unique Charms. The recipe requires an eligible Unique item with sufficient power along with several Charms. This gives you another way to obtain specific build-defining pieces instead of relying entirely on random drops.This is particularly convenient when the required Unique equipment is easy to obtain through other Cube recipes. How to Assemble the Set You Need Faster
While you are still missing even the basic pieces of your target set, use Reroll Set Charm and recycle unwanted Charms. At this stage, getting the correct item names is more important than perfect affixes.Once the Charm you need finally appears, stop randomly changing its type. Switch to Horadric Reroll and look for the affix combination required by your build. After obtaining a strong set of affixes, use Affix Value Reroll to push Skill Ranks, Resistances, and other values as close to their maximum as possible.This way, you remove each layer of randomness separately instead of trying to hit the perfect Charm, perfect affixes, and perfect values with a single roll.
